What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to taking a great photograph, besides the correct settings inside the camera, is to meet the client where they are. If they are nervous to get their pictures done, relax them. If they are excited to get their pictures done, get excited with them.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I always ask my clients what type of pictures they want. Elopement? Then, where? when? how many people? pictures of the ceremony only? candid? formal? inside? outside? I ask lots of questions!!
What do you love most about your job?
I love getting to know my clients - and sharing their story!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always loved photography and was fortunate enough to meet a friend of a friend that showed me the process of a full day wedding and the editing that was involved. I am happiest behind the lens. ??
Why should our clients choose you?
When someone is choosing a photographer, they should look at their portfolio or website to make sure the images they see are in line with what they want their photos to look like when they are delivered. If my style matches their expectations, then we are a good fit!
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I need to physically be at a location to take the pictures, but from there, the rest of the service is online.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
To keep everyone safe through the pandemic, I mostly photographed outdoors (my preference anyways) and wore a mask. With the restrictions lifted I don't wear a mask unless the client requests it.
