What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
It's simple, really; I intentionally get to know you and your story. I send out questionnaires, and we choose a location meaningful to you. We take our time, and we build in a warm-up/ice-breaker in every session. We use prompts (not poses) to spark natural emotion rather than forced smiles.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What does your guest list look like, mostly adults or a mix?
Within your guest list, how many people are you expecting to attend?
At your event, what activities will be going on?
Will there be speeches, ceremonies, dedications, awards, etc?
Where will you be hosting this event, and is there more than one location?
What is the date of your event, and is it set in stone or still fluid?
What is the occasion, and why is it important to you that it be documented?

I know the importance of freezing a moment that can be relived for generations. Being able to provide that service to others softens the pain of missing out on some of those key moments for myself.
