Brayden with Bridgewater Consulting was an absolute delight to work with. We are completing an overhaul on our 1900's farmhouse and were completely stuck with the floor plan. After sifting through many reviews, we landed on Bridgewater Consulting. I didn't even have to compare because his reviews speak for themselves and the project that was delivered to us is a representation of his fantastic reputation. Brayden was kind enough to listen to what our goals were and showcase them through a plan that I couldn't be happier with. If you are looking for an excellent architect, look no further. Brayden McLaughlin at Bridgewater Consulting in Lincoln is the man. He recently drew the plans for a remodel of the house we plan to move into. We could not be happier. He is truly a professional. From the get go, he realized that this was going to be our home and that we would decide what we wanted and he was not going to decide this for us. If what we wanted was impossible to do, he explained why not, and made suggestions. And from there it was up to us to decide the next step. Even though he was in Lincoln and we were in Omaha, he did not hesitate to come so that we could go over the plans and discuss them with him in person. Two characteristics that I admired the most were. He never got upset when we made changes and-we made a few. Never saw him roll his eves in disgust. And secondly, communication. I do not recall anytime during the process that we ever wondered what was going on. He really did a great job keeping us informed in a timely manner. He was great at letting us know if he would be late for a meeting with us and almost up to the minute when the new time would be. And he would inform us when he was on his way. We worked personally with Brayden. He was very knowledgeable and helpful with making suggestions. Brayden helped us design a 1900 sq ft house with a finished basement. Given our lack of experience we sometimes needed to make changes during the process and Brayden was very patient and accommodating. When we decided to build something different, I knew I needed an architect that could listen to my vision and capture it as I hoped. So I contacted Bridgewater Consulting and spoke with Brayden. Our plan was to dismantle a gambrel barn built around 1890, tag each and every piece, haul all of it to our farm in Kansas and rebuild it exactly as it looked and create our dream home. I knew what I wanted the inside to look like and had a lot of ideas that I didn't know if they could be possible in the space. But Brayden listened, went out and looked at the barn that same day, and started working just from our conversation. Within a few days he and I met, and he showed me what he had created. It was everything I wanted and more. He incorporated post and beams into one of the walls and used the wood from the old barn throughout the house. I was so impressed and only asked to tweak a couple of things from my original ideas. Sharing his plans with our builder, he even mentioned the quality and creativity of the plans and asked if Brayden had done a project like this before because other architects wouldn't have thought of incorporating the old barn like Brayden had done. I couldn't be more excited to start this project. I am so grateful for Brayden's work, creativity, input, communication and efficiency. New sunroom addition for our 1990 farmhouse designed by Bridgewater Consulting. They matched the exterior look and feel of the house hiding the lean-to roof on the inside with a ceiling peak centered on the room and custom fireplace with tile accents to match the green walls and dark wood trim.

Brayden and his team were spectacular from start to finish.

My wife and I are building a 5300 square foot house and were absolutely thrilled with the finish product. The teams suggestions and input were welcome and spot on. They suggested many cost saving and design features we had not thought of.

The software drawings and 3D pictures were second to none including any architects drawings that would have cost tens of thousands of dollars more. Every promise and deadline was met or exceeded in all phases. We had absolutely no problem securing trade estimates or a building permit.
