Armando Dog Training

We worked with Armando to help our American Pitbull Terrier (Cookie) with leash aggression and pulling, and the results have been fantastic. From the very first session, Armando was professional, patient, and clearly knowledgeable about dog behavior. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why, which made the whole process feel easy and reassuring. Our dog made huge improvements - walks are now calm, controlled, and enjoyable instead of stressful. The change is honestly night and day. Armando clearly understands working breeds and knew exactly how to get through to our dog in a way that was firm but fair. Tuve una excelente experiencia con Armando durante las seis semanas de entrenamiento de mi perro, Corbus. Desde el primer día demostró un gran nivel de conocimiento, paciencia y compromiso con el proceso. La comunicación siempre fue clara y constante, explicándome cada técnica y ejercicio de forma que pudiera continuar practicando en casa. I had an excellent experience with Armando during the six-week training program for my dog, Corbus. From day one, he showed great knowledge, patience, and true commitment to the process. The most affordable and knowledgeable trainer in Tampa. Prior to meeting armando i had a really tough time finding a Dog trainer that can fit my budget as well as teach me how to properly train my puppy. He knows exactly what he is doing and he does a good job at coming up with a training schedule thats easy to understand so that you can reinforce the training with your dog until the next session. I can't say enough about Armando. His love of my animals and kindness to me were among the extras. He sure knows how to train the trainers as well as the dogs. My other dog, who was not being trained also learned by watching. I hired him for my fiesty blind dog to improve walking. I have a healing broken shoulder. He kept his promise both doggies can be walked again. Well worth the price and the friendship. More...

I needed some help with my 19 moth old Dogo Argentino. He was showing some aggression towards strangers (which is in the breed), and I wanted help with walking and just basic obediance. Armado is great. The first day my boy Odin wanted to tear him apart, by the second training session he was in the yard with him. Armando really is a great trainier. He understands dogs and knows how to talk to them. He uses positive reinforcement and never got mad or aggressive with my dog. The thing about training is consistency. Bascically the human needs to be trained first and then use this training every day with your dog and youll see improvement. I fully recommend Armando. More...

He arrived on time. He was good with my dog and explained what he was doing and why.

Armondo is an incredible dog trainer. He is firm with our dog, but kind and sometimes funny. Like him allot, as us humans are also trained!

Highly recommend, our dog was uneasy around new people sometimes snapped at them (45lb German Shepard) and when Armando came in he immediately focused on her and gains her trust in 30 min he definitely knows what he is talking about we saw results in our first session! Having Armando help us with our new puppy was paramount! He assisted us in getting the learning curve quicker, and with more detail than we could have ever done. Our PUPPY (yes energetic husky) will wait in place when someone comes to the door or enters our home. She waits for the person or people to greet her and she is very well behaved. I can take her on a walk, and depending on which foot I lead with she knows what I want from her. This is second to none! If you are on the fence about it, just do it! My husband and I have had such a great experience working with Armando. Our rescue,Leila had been traumatized by neglect as a puppy. She started out timid and afraid of men, she also needed to be socialized to do well with cats as we have a kitten at home. By the first lesson Armando had taught her to sit like a pro and by the third lesson she was playing with the cat and able to confidently be around other people. Armando is incredible with our dogs. My house nicknamed him the dog whisperer. He makes training fun with the kids and the dogs act like angels. I see the improvements in only 2 sessions. He is appropriately priced because your dog will get results (I have one puppy & one 10 year old so I'm proof you can teach old and new dogs tricks).
