We just got home after 3 lovely nights at the Pella Mansion. We loved the location, the ambiance and the impeccable service. Jeff, the owner/operator surprised us with dinner twice and special Tulip Time wine and beer. Totally unexpected! We also loved the Dutch letters at breakfast the first morning. What a great time! We had a girls overnighter at the Pella Mansion and had a wonderful time! It is such a unique, historical place to stay with so much charm and excellent accommodations. The host was very attentive and met all our needs. It has very nice conversations spots as well for sitting and visiting. This historic place is immaculate and gorgeous. It is right off the highway but so quiet which makes it convenient and relaxing. Each room has its own bathroom and the bed was so comfortable. It has a rich history that is available for its guests to read through while hanging out on the wrap around porch or in one of several lounge areas throughout the house. The Pella Mansion is such a beautiful, historical house. I have driven passed this house many times and as a little girl, said that I would love to live in it! If you like the character of old homes, this is the place. The rich, two toned floors are stunning. The stairway railings are incredible. I can't even imagine making those spindles by hand 150 years ago! You will experience 3 floors of architectural beauty. Each floor has a large sitting area to relax and enjoy conversation. Each themed bedroom has it's own bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the lighted stain glass windows on the third floor are stunning. I enjoyed all the Dutch decor. Spending the night in this beautiful house with friends was a treasure! Thank you for letting us share this wonderful home. I can't wait to see it again when you have it all set up for weddings! It brings me great satisfaction to see the newlywed couple and their guests dancing and having a wonderful time on the dance floor.
