Augusta Custom Clubs is a custom clubfitting, club making and golf instruction facility, with just a touch of golf psychology thrown in. We love to work with seasoned golfers as well as those new to the sport. Dan has been into golf since he started building his own clubs in the 1980s.

What do you love most about your job?
The most important thing about my job is seeing happy customers lower their scores. The smile on their face is what keeps me going.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Now that is a good question. I was about to retire for the third time when I read an article that said that people who retire and do not keep a schedule had a very short life expectancy. So I decided to do something I loved. Build golf clubs and teach the basics behind the golf swing. That started me down the long road of learning all there was to know about golf.

I am the only person in the CSRA who has dedicated their life to the game of golf to the point where they have been certified by the USGTF, Golfsmith, Golfworks, and major equipment manufacturers.
Custom Club Fitting
In Georgia, I am the only active club-fitter between Atlanta and Savannah working with both blast motion technologies and a launch monitor. At Augusta Custom Clubs you will receive the finest club fitting experience available. We break the clubfitting process into three sessions. You can expect to spend 2-3 hours getting fitted for irons, woods, and the putter. These three fittings are then translated into my next skill as a custom club maker.
Custom Golf Club Making and Club Repair
In Georgia, I am the only active club-maker working with Tom Wishon Golf Technologies, Tour Edge, Alpha Golf, and Eagle Rebirth Golf. At Augusta Custom Clubs you will receive the finest equipment that can be made. We use science and technology that is used nowhere else in the CSRA. In fact, we are the only shop to offer both single length irons that match the length, weight, balance point, and MOI for clubs and standard clubs that match the swingweight and MOI of the clubs.
