I really don't see it as a job. I help people. I do what I enjoy, therefore, every day I wake up, I get to enjoy what I do versus having a job. My purpose in life is to help people, so my business is all 100% about that. Since that is my purpose and my business allows me to help people every day I wake up, I'm excited. Additionally, I am able to use the many layers of my experience as opposed to just doing a task. That's what makes doing what I do fun. So, there is nothing I really like most because there are so many things about what I do that I love.
Independence. I've been an entrepreneur since age 6 and never stopped. It's in my blood. I enjoy the ability to control my destiny. Secondly, I enjoy helping people. In hindsight, all that I do is about helping people in so many ways. So it's more than owning a business. Ownership is just the legal element. I'm not really inspired to own an LLC, I'm inspired to help people become the best version of themselves. That inspiration happens to me every day all day. https://a.co/d/fZVDy7O
Only if it is the right chemistry fit should they hire me. If I am the right chemistry fit, there is no one better. Clients should not hire me simply because I provide the service they are looking for or because I am very good at what I do. They should research me and learn more about who I am and the various dimensions of me that will ultimately show up as we work together. This is very important because it will impact the relationship of working together. It's more than a simple interview and hire, it's the human-to-human aspect that impacts the emotional intelligence required to achieve the goals and objectives of my clients. I have no doubt that I am very good at what I do, but the client is the one who has to ultimately do the work. It's that chemistry fit and trust that motivates the client to do the doing to achieve their goals and objectives.
Yes. As a leadership coach, I am able to use most media platforms to work with clients. I have global clients whereby the majority of the work is done virtually. As a Keynote Speaker, there is nothing that replaces the energy of being in person; however, I have done many webinars and virtual presentations.
Perhaps this is an outdated question since it's now 2023; however, I will say virtual communication capabilities versus in-person communication has grown exponentially making safety on many levels including being safe from all viruses and even people themselves a control element that everyone has, whether you are the client or business person.
