The New York Botanical Garden is so lovely and full of great exhibitions as well as one of the most beautiful parks in the state! My wife and I try to plan visits there about once a month and regardless of the season, it’s often a spiritually uplifting experience, to be surrounded by such beautiful plants, trees and the conservatory. We were there today to see the 600,000 daffodils that are part of the NYBG’s plan to plant over a million flowers. They have, what they call, Daffodil Hill, which today was covered with hundreds of thousands of daffodils. It was breathtaking! The Spring is a great time to enjoy the flowering cherry Trees and the lilacs that are also blooming through the end of April and beginning of May. However whenever you come, there is plenty to see and enjoy!
