We cannot say enough about our experience with Jay. He helped make our daughter’s sweet 16 memorable and fun. The kids enjoyed the music, dancing and the photo booth. So our experience was ok we had won a contest and were promised certain things we never got . The consultation we had the very first time maybe 6 months before when I won the contest the DJ company told me that they were gonna help with the ceremony as well with like mics and music. I thought the person I was talking too at the time was writing notes down as we spoke . Fast forward to about 2 weeks before the wedding this particular person acted as if we never had the conversation about the ceremony and then told me they don’t do that. Not only that but we were given a whole Itinerary to feel out with our playlist and special songs and literally only the special songs were placed but not the one after my husband’s speech which he still complains about till this day . We were promised a monogram with our initials on the dance floor we never got . And the DJ we had literally argued with me about playing our special dance song because it had to be played on you tube . My husband and I loved our wedding but we always go back to , “the DJ didn’t play our songs like we wanted”. It was an ok experience. My wife and I worked with The D Jay Company for our wedding party last month and it was a great experience. The Office Staff were able to work with our budget and their site had fairly detailed videos online.
We picked DJ Eddie and after a phone call and in-person meet up we knew we had our guy. Eddie was really open minded to the ideas we wanted for our event and even though my wife and I had waited until the last minute to set up playlists/genres and announcement cues, Eddie pulled through and made it happen.
Our party played such a wide variety of music (from all eras AND cultures per request!) but the DJ mixed it together so seamlessly that the dance floor was never empty. He definitely kept it fun for us and our guests and brought a ton of good energy to the party.
Thanks Jay and The D Jay Company for helping to make our wedding party such a blast! We would have been dancing all night if the venue let us!
