I took my Bernese Mountain dog to her for a bath and trim. I told her I didn’t want him shaved just trimmed, it’s unhealthily to shave a Bernese mountain dog. She texted me later on and told me my dog was done and unfortunately she had to “take it all off”. She never once called me to tell me she was shaving him, she took it upon herself to shave my dog without even notifying me. When I picked him up he was completely shaved down to his skin after I specifically told her not to. She claimed he was matted. He has never had any problems before at the groomers. After I took him home he was very uncomfortable, he couldn’t lay down and I noticed he had several razor burns. He also has numerous minor wounds and scratches from the clippers. He was up the entire night unable to sleep due to the itching and discomfort. The next morning he was put on medication for the itching and burns and I was told by my vet I needed to give him a cold bath. I contacted her regarding his vet bill and the burns and I received no response. I send her several messages and pictures of the script and vet invoice. How could you run a business and not care that fact you gave my dog razor burns and wounds. It’s very unprofessional she never reached out to me regarding the problem or tried to fix the situation.Please do not take your dog here to get groomed, my dog is miserable over what should have been a simple bath and cut. I don’t want anyone to have to go through what we did. She is extremely unprofessional and will take it upon herself to cut/shave your dog the way she wants to. More...

Shannon by far is not just one of the best dog groomers I have ever had for my furry kids but THE BEST groomer I have ever had my whole life. I have a Siberian husky and everyone knows they are runners and escape artists. She has made me feel so comfortable and safe leaving my husky with her for not just grooming but even boarding while on vacation. I couldn’t be happier that I found someone that I trust so much with my baby’s. We took our dog here for his first groom. He looks like a new dog. He smells good, his nails are great, and he was super relaxed when he came home after his massage. Shannon is amazing, went above and and beyond for us! My new pup had super matted fur from lack of grooming in her previous home. We couldn’t find anywhere that was taking new clients but lucky us, Shannon had a cancellation that day and was able to see us.
