What inspired you to start your own business?
Saving dogs from being rehomed or sent to shelter due to behavioral issues that can be resolved by training.
Why should our clients choose you?
We have no size or breed restrictions and have no issues taking on whatever issue you may have.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Although we are not set up for remote training, we can figure it out. Our goal is to help in whatever way we can.
Green Dog Academy
In this 5 week program, you will meet once a week in a private session with your trainer. You will both learn the foundations of obedience and how to raise your puppy. This program is geared to teach you how to train your own puppy and help them grow into a well balanced dog.
-Your puppy doesn't need just basic obedience!
Sit, down, and stay are not going to teach your puppy the skills they actually need to grow up to be a go anywhere pup!
In fact, focusing on just obedience can lead to more problems than it solves as your puppy grows up:
Your puppy needs to learn:
Confidence in new environments
That new things aren't scary
When it's time to play and when it's time to rest
Potty training
That teeth don't belong on people
That you are a safe person and will help them when they are scared or confused
That people and dogs are not scary
That you don't get to greet every person and dog you see
That bath time and toe nail trims are no big deal

Empowerment Program
Our most popular Empowerment Program taught over the course of 6 weeks, focuses on the fundamentals of basic and intermediate obedience to teach you and your dog how to become a dynamic team. We've been listening to our clients since we opened in 2015 and re-designed our training program to offer this amazing and UNIQUE training program.
We provide training for all types of dogs, from miniature to massive, puppies to seniors. You and your trainer will work one on one for approximately 45 minutes at our facility and not in a group setting because not all dogs can learn at that level of distraction, but we will get you there using the 4 D’s of Dog Training; (Duration, Distance, Distraction, & Difficulty)
Social Misfit
We often see dogs coming from rescues and shelters that lack confidence and are afraid of their surroundings and new owners. This particular program is designed for dogs that have displayed fear of humans, fear of leashes, sounds, places, changes, etc.
Other examples are cowering, urinating/defecating in fearful situations, hiding behind or under furniture and people, and excessive whining, crying, or screaming in uncomfortable situations. Growling and barking at people and/or dogs they are afraid of. This program addresses all levels of reactivity and lower levels of aggression.
Utilizing scientifically proven methods through positive based training, in this approximately 8 to 12 week course your dog will be taught parts of our foundational Empowerment Program and learn improved confidence through emotional regulation.
Chaos to Calm
We do not believe in labeling dogs “aggressive” for life, especially since there are so many different types, and most are misunderstood. We will take the time to understand the root cause of your dogs aggression and help them to overcome and manage their aggression in our “Chaos to Calm” Program.
This particular program is designed for dogs that have displayed aggression issues; Dog vs Dog or Dog vs Human, Aggression being defined as, ( lunging, snarling, snapping, biting, and specifically has become a danger to people and/or other dogs).
Utilizing the techniques found in our foundational Empowerment Program, your trainer will be with you every step of the way and your dog will learn impulse control, how to manage reactivity and socialization. **Results will vary
Day School
One of our most popular programs, often our clients do not have a schedule that allows for them to attend one-on-one training sessions nor do they want to send their dog to us for an extended training period. So we have brought to you our Day School Program.
In this training option, you drop your dog off to us at 8am and they spend the day with one of our dedicated training professionals where we are able to address obedience and mild to medium behavioral issues at our facility. We are also able to take them out into the community for socialization opportunities.
In the evening at around 5-6pm you pick them up and take them home for the evening. Then on Fridays, you and your trainer will have a private 45 min session to go over what your dog learned and accomplished during the week. This session will set you up for success over the weekend with your homework assignments and kept the momentum going until your dog returns to training on Monday.
The longer they stay the more they learn. The shorter the program we are only able to focus on specific things.
