I have had several personal trainers over the years, and I am so fortunate to have found Jin! His bio/resume stood out immediately, but I was blown away when I had my trial session – Jin’s even more incredible in-person.
After carefully researching, I contacted 4 trainers, and I could tell from Jin’s expertise, response time and thoroughness (email, text and phone call) that he was on another level. He is extremely knowledgeable, meticulous and attentive. During the initial call, he will diligently take note of any underlying health issues, old injuries, etc.
He’s by far the most talented, dedicated and professional trainer I’ve ever worked with. We’ve been training 3x a week for 8 months now and I couldn’t be more grateful or pleased with my strength & progress. I’m continuously building strength, agility, endurance and my overall physique and nutrition is a testament to Jin’s customized training.
Jin is a 1 in a million rarity – he’s a genuine, authentic and a highly principled person. Unlike most trainers, he’s ‘with you’ the entire training session, not texting, or repeating meaningless platitudes. I have been training with Jin for just over a year and in that time he has fixed my form on compound and bodyweight lifts with easy to remember and effective cues, and continues to challenge me with heavier weights and intensity. Jin is the incredible. 12/10 recommend. After working with many PTs, I can honestly say Jin is by far the best PT ive ever worked with. He’s very attentive, and offers the perfect cues and imagery to help perfect your form when lifting. I didn’t really feel that comfortable with going to the gym, I would go occasionally but never stuck with it for that long. I mainly took group classes when I wanted to workout but I didn’t know how much that was helping. Jin is a great personal trainer! I had never worked with personal trainers before working with Jin, and a big part of it was because I wasn't sure how to find the right trainer. I had been following at-home workout videos, which helped me to get started but I realized I needed some professional help if I want to lift heavier weights with the right form and avoid injuries. I'm petite and pretty small-framed (5'1 and ~105 lbs), looking to tone and get stronger. Before working with Jin, I could lift up to 60lbs, and had no upper body strength. I found Jin through a friend of mine who has been training with him. Within a few sessions, Jin has taught me exercises that I can continue to do at home, and new exercises I can do using equipment at a gym. I'm getting my upper body worked out as well, which is helping me to have better balance with heavier weights. In just a month's time, Jin has helped me to increase my max. weight capacity to 100 lbs! He's super attentive, and extremely professional. I always feel comfortable and encouraged when training with Jin. He was very thoughtful in listening to my specific goals, and customized a training plan to help me achieve my goals. Truly 10/10 trainer. Jin is an absolute expert at designing workouts that are tailored towards your body type, health goals, and strength levels. He’s developed a great program to help me build strength overtime, and I’ve seen great progress on my fitness journey (muscle gain, weight loss, being able to do exercises I simply couldn’t before). Jin can easily tailor workouts to accomodate for injuries, and is constantly on top of adjusting workouts for my medical needs. He’s given me a lot of confidence to try things that are difficult in the gym, and as a woman I now feel great about weight training where I was more nervous before. I've never been very athletic or fit even though I exercised a lot as a teenager and young adult. About 2 years ago, I started feeling like I was finally seeing results but ended up developing chronic knee pain. The whole experience really discouraged me from working out but Jin has helped me find my motivation again and has been patient and flexible with working around my knee pain.

Working with Jin Park was truly a pleasure - he was very willing and adaptable to my life/situation. I’m a vegetarian, which I always found hard in terms of protein intake, but Jin worked with me to find different avenues for protein. In terms of exercise, his expertise was stunning. I remember one time I was doing squats and just by looking at me he could identify where my pain point was, and told me how to adjust my form to prevent that pain. I’ve never really enjoyed working out and struggled to get into a routine and stay consistent in the past . Since training with Jin I’ve been able to stay consistent & he mixes up the workouts so it’s not so repetitive. It’s become a lot easier to stay on schedule, Jin follows up in between sessions & answers any concerns and questions I have. Jin is an excellent trainer. As someone who does not enjoy working out as much as others, I am surprised that I look forward to going to the gym.
During the interview process, I explained to Jin that I had previously existing injuries and was a bit apprehensive to get back in the gym. Not only did he assure me that he was certified, but he also promised me a session to test my capabilities. The session went very well. Jin is great at easing an otherwise tense environment.
What sets Jin apart is his ability to balance care and motivation. He will push you for your goals to be met. But he always checks in to make sure that you are ok. He is also able to work within my often chaotic schedule. Flexibility is important.
