Like...WOW! Yes, I trend toward only writing reviews for businesses that I have a positive interaction with, but I assure you that I am nothing if not sincere. This guy is GREAT! I have had a nagging feeling that my 2023 filings were "off". I had done them myself and I work with goverment tax forms in my line of work, so I should have been confident...but I was not. Even though I had met the April deadline for filing. I routinely looked my completed forms over and over again and couldn't make heads or tails of where I went wrong... Why do I owe so much??! I had contacted another CPA I was referred to, (email/voicemail), a few weeks back regarding my concerns/interest in working with them and received no response...NONE. Enter Mr. Tyrrell. From the time of initial engagement, (I had sent him a brief inquiry via email this morning), to completion of my amended returns took no more than two hours! Did it require some work on my part? Sure. I had my documents ready to go and was able to upload them electronically, (securely of course), for his review. That being said, this Professional is exactly that. Mr. Tyrrell is responsive, a clear and concise communicator, gives easy-to-follow instructions, and GETS IT DONE! Isn't working with a CPA kind of "spendy"? It certainly can be, but I found his rates to be in line with most tax professionals and his work, (with a big emphasis on his responsiveness here), is well worth it! I just realized that when I last reviewed (on 3/31 under Sal M), I think I logged in incorrectly, but that 5-star rating is real. I am adding an additional rating. Since doing my taxes, I asked Dennis to go over some special tax situations I am facing. These are things like some stock options, gifting to charity and children, and a few other more complicated issues around investments and retirement planning.
