What do you love most about your job?
Helping people achieve their training goals. It's very fulfilling when I see the learning process taking place and I have helped a client resolve a problem they have been having with their dog.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I attended a puppy training class which was conducted at the trainer's home in her garage. I enjoyed the class so much that I thought it would be a great career. I had been working in the accounting field for many years and I also had previous experience as a horseback riding instructor. I felt that my background in business and my desire to teach others would make me especially suited for this type of business.
Why should our clients choose you?
The combination of my education and experience puts me ahead of much of my competition. I have been training dogs professionally for over 8 years. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, I am an honors graduate of Animal Behavior College in their Dog Trainer Certification program, and I am nationally certified by the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT). I offer very flexible scheduling and a free initial consultation which gives potential clients an opportunity to meet me before making a commitment.

I offer remote services via phone consultations, Zoom meetings, Skype, or Facebook video messenger.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have added the option for online/remote services. For in-person learning I wear a mask and request that my clients do the same unless all family members are fully vaccinated. I am fully vaccinated. I also disinfect my hands before and after entering a client's home.
