I first worked with Dan when he was backpacking his way between photo shoots going from site-to-site to serve his clients. He had no studio of significant status when he first started out. But his work was good and he had unique people skills that made him easy for my clients and me to work with. I’ve known about his Excalibur Studio but now that I’ve experienced it personally, I can’t say enough good about the venue or the finesse it’s bringing out in Dan’s photo artistry. Dan is gifted and he makes his time with his clients one of stories, laughter, and taking time to primp and be evaluated for your best look to use with his lighting and lenses. Dan Mutterer is a natural in how he takes care of his photographic subjects. We had the opportunity about a year ago to do some head shots and I was just really disappointed in a different vendor that we used. I thought there has to be more. Dan was A+ amazing.
