We really love the Dogs Colorado pet sitting and dog walking services! Â They are great with our less than well behaved dogs! Â We get a regular dog walker (whom we love) and if for some reason she can't make it we get a replacement or a walk on a different day. The app they use is great for constant communication. The best part for us though is the in home pet sitting service. It's much more reasonable than a kennel, the dogs stay home and get regular exercise and even our bearded dragon gets more attention! Having serious hip problems, I cannot walk Bella right now. She's a 7 y.o Labrador who lives for walks. Her favorite new person is Jeff Fullmer of Dogs Colorado - mine too, by the way. Jeff first took her individually for a few walks. In the summer, she gets pretty tired after a few blocks and I was concerned about her getting walked with several other dogs. Jeff's philosophy ("we go at the pace of the slowest dog") was very reassuring. She's getting out, meeting other dogs, and exploring new walking places, parks, etc. I trust Jeff to look out for her best interests while out and about. Jeff and his crew have been a lifesaver for our family. I am out of town a lot and our dogs are home by themselves during the day. Kevin and Andrea are there to save the day and our dogs get good walks/runs in every day. We love the reports and pictures we get after each visit. They brighten our whole day. Our dogs are loving their time with Kevin and Andrea and all the new friends they have met. We've even used their services for house sitting. What inspired you to start your own business?
I started Dogs Colorado because when I wander outside my mind becomes calm. It is as if sunlight and the promise of the unknown work together to clear away old worries, sharpen my instincts, and fuel new ideas. I like to think that I see an analogous effect in my dogs. That we somehow share this bit of clarity in our adventures. Certainly, I rarely see them happier. It is as if they spend their days at home loyal to my life story, but when we go outside, they get to be a part of their own.
Dogs Colorado is my own way to participate in the lives of as many fantastic dogs as possible, and the best way I have found to participate in my own.

Our Puptenders are vetted and established pet care professionals, fully bonded and insured, and certified yearly in Canine & Feline First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) techniques. We specifically seek out pet care professionals who have a compassionate mindset, routinely go above and beyond, and value cultivating a meaningful connection to the animals they work with.

Pack Walking, Hiking, Running
Alright let's GO! Keep those paws moving!
This is a 45-minute group hike or run that is perfect for:
- medium to high energy dogs
- sprinters / runners
- dogs practicing socialization
- dogs practicing recall
- dogs learning to be on a leash
All new-to-the-pack dogs are given a leisurely get to know you period. Afterwards, our introductions happen in a calm and controlled environment with safety, compatibility, and chemistry taking priority.
Once social bonds have been established, we aim to keep all dogs stimulated and engaged in the fun. Our pack services always take place in an open space, park, or along a single-track trail. Our Puptenders go where the good smells can be found and keep paws on grass and dirt.
Transportation is included and requires a harness through which we can run a buckle. Service includes 45 minutes of actual hiking and/or running and free pick up and drop off at your home.
Hang Out Sessions (Custom and Solo Walks)
Let's be outside, pee on a tree, smell the grass, stretch our legs.

Our Hang Out Sessions are solo visits and they include only the animals in your home. This service may include a walk around your neighborhood and/or any requested activities. For example: backyard play, palliative care, medication administration, training reinforcement, etc… you tell us!
Customized Pet Sitting
Our customizable pet sitting service starts with a Meet & Greet where our Puptender comes to you, on your time, to meet everybody in person and to make sure all the important details are covered.
Pet Sitting Services Include a Puptender staying mornings, evenings and overnight at your home (overnights optional), morning and evening feeding, morning and evening 30 minute walks, and anything specific such as: medication administration, routines, cleanup, palliative care, or anything else your pet may be used to.
Guided Adventues
Specialized walking and running for nervous or reactive dogs. Perfect for:
- Dogs with higher than average energy levels
- Dogs that have specific training needs and/or training reinforcement to be implemented during outings
- Dogs that take time (more than one meet and greet) to build trust with a new walker
- Dogs that are mild to moderately uncertain about entry into the home by walkers
- Dogs with moderate to high reactivity on leash
- Dogs who need slow and highly-facilitated introductions to other dogs
- Any other personality quirks that may require a walker to have a background and experience in canine behavior and/or training in order to provide the safest and most beneficial experience for the dogs, the walker, and the general public.
