Wow! My husband and I cancelled our big wedding in France and decided to get married at my parents' house in six weeks. Pensee was SO SO helpful. What a lovely bridal salon with a great personal touch. Christen was so nice and helpful. My daughter tried on many gowns and they all looked great. Very personal touch. I loved that she was not pushy like another shop we were in earlier this week. While we have not said yes to the dress yet....this definitely helped our decision.

Just bought THE healthiest, most beautiful plants from Lee's (neon pothos) and I saw a ton more plants I'd love to own. The pots, planters and accessories were also really nice. The shop is so beautifully arranged and decorated - it's a pleasure just to walk through the door. Last, but certainly not least, the service Marquita provided was outstanding. I'll be back for sure!

By far the most entertaining experience I've had at a florist in my life. Â I was greeted as if I were a long lost family member as soon as I entered the lively and cluttered store on a rainy November evening in search of some tulips for the gf. Â The smiling faces, colorful fresh flowers, constant hustle-and-bustle of pruning and arranging and just the LIFE of the place was a stark contrast to the cold street outside. Â The husband and wife owner duo of Mr. and Mrs. Lee were an absolute delight and riot - Mrs. Lee playing the part of the stern but knowledgeable Asian matron to perfection, while Mr. Lee was her gregarious and jovial foil, often making hilarious and ridiculous statements to me under his breath (or at the top of his lungs) in a mix of Mandarin and English ("Chinglish") while he helped me pick out my flowers.Our conversation ranged from:* the best flowers for an amorous result ("colorful lilies make women want to kiss!")* an incredible recommendation, considering extra flowers = extra $$$ for the store, of less sometimes being more when it comes to flowers ("you're not trying to build a forest!")* a warning that certain flower pollens will stain clothes ("if you mess up her dress, she will not want to kiss!")* a five minute discourse from Mr. Lee on why Korean men tend to beat their wives and why Chinese husbands get walked all over by their spouses (this part was all in Mandarin and out of earshot of Mrs. Lee)Needless to say, my stomach hurt from laughing by the time I had settled on my flowers. Â Ended up walking out with a bunch of gorgeous orange lilies and yellow daisies (which lasted almost a week and a half!) at a very affordable price. I'll be back for both the flowers and the fun.

Recommended without reservation!I have used this florist a few times over the past couple years and I have always been amazed with their selection, creativity and abilities.  Recently, I purchased a fairly large arrangement in a vase for my wife on our anniversary  and as expected, everything looked great. I was disappointed when two days later, many of the flowers (ones that should have lived much longer) were dropping petals and wilting as though they were sprayed with herbicide. A call to Allan Woods to inform them of the floral carnage resulted in a gorgeous replacement at our door the next day! They've earned my loyalty.Not inexpensive but they are a full service florist and that benefit comes with a price. Like many things in life, you get what you pay for. I second Stephanie M's recommendation that if you're looking for cheap flowers- go to whole foods. But remember that haircuts at the beauty college are cheap too!

Beautiful prom corsage and matching boutonniere came exactly as ordered (picture provided). Colors and style just as we specified. Shop owner very accommodating when I came to pick up the order and requested adding some sparkle (rhinestones) to corsage. She went above and beyond. I would definitely order here again.

Lord Baltimore Florists has the most gorgeous flower arrangements I've ever seen. The flowers are huge, fresh, and stunning. I recently received a bouquet of roses from them...the roses were full blown, at least six inches across, and lasted for an entire week. While this florist is a bit pricier than generic chain places, it is worth every penny. The customer service and delivery people are extremely pleasant as well. Definitely the best florist in the city.
