What inspired you to start your own business?
With over a decade of experience in the dental field, I have observed that some cleaning personnel may not fully comprehend the critical importance of maintaining strict separation between the 'dirty' and 'clean' zones within sterilization rooms. Specifically, there have been instances where the same towel is used to wipe surfaces on both the contaminated (dirty) side and the sterilized (clean) side, subsequently being utilized to clean other areas of the office. This practice poses a significant risk of cross-contamination, potentially compromising the sterility of instruments and the overall hygiene of the clinical environment.
It is imperative that all staff involved in the cleaning and sterilization processes receive comprehensive training on infection control protocols. Understanding and adhering to the proper segregation of contaminated and sterile areas are essential to ensure patient safety and maintain the integrity of dental procedures.
