What do you love most about your job?
With photography I get immediate feedback on if I did a good job setting up the photo. I also have the opportunity to try again. I also like being outdoors and seeing new and different things all the time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
In 2016, I won a drone and found the hobby of model aircraft, and I was hooked. After downsizing from my Business Systems Analysis job at billion dollar company, I began working Sky Photos LLC full time, and in 2026 I am entering my 7th year of business.

I am an FAA Part 107 certified commercial drone pilot with a background in technical, safety-critical work. Every job is planned with airspace checks, risk assessment, and clear objectives so there are no surprises on site.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I take safety seriously and if disease transmission while on site is a concern, please make me aware. I carry a variety of site PPE with me including high visibility, hard hats, masks, Eye/Ear protection and safety shoes. It is better to check before hand to make sure I have the gear you need me to have with me.
