I joined this gym at the end of October and so far I'm very happy. The equipment is all brand new and up to date. The staff is very friendly. The facility is clean, the cleanest I've seen for a gym and I've gone to 4 of the largest known gyms in Ontario and none have been as clean and maintained! The gym is small, but perfect for those like me that don't like crowded gyms and waiting to use equipment. The gym has several personal trainers and classes for all fitness levels. You can gain 24 hour access with your access tag.The prices average compared to other gyms, the only difference is they have a enhancement fee twice a year on top of the monthly fee but you get a say in what kind of equipment you want to see in the gym. They allow you to cancel at any time with a set fee rather then paying out every month remaining on the membership which I find very flexible because some gyms require the full year paid if you cancel. Although they don't have a pool area you can gain access to the Berkshire Club next door as a member with the gym. Over all I highly recommend trying this club out, you won't be disappointed!

It can often be intimidating to walk into a CrossFit box the first time. People and weights are flying around at sometimes breakneck speeds. Everyone seems to know exactly what they’re doing. That intimidation though quickly fades away as you look around and start to sense something different. Those who are done are now cheering on those who are still working.
Great box! I was visiting from out of the area and this gym’s patrons and coaches were extremely welcoming and helpful. I was also lucky enough to participate in a “barbells and bros.” event and met some awesome people. I ended up dropping in as much as I could up to the day I left for home. Let me start by saying I am the last person to be motivate to “go to the gym” or “go workout”. I live a very active lifestyle outside of the gym but I’m never willing to go lift weights or run on a treadmill.
I’ve been wanting to try boxing or kick boxing for quite some time, but I wasn’t eager to join a full class, plus it’s not a typical class that is offered.
Each class, Scott pushes me harder and challenges me to improve each week. He makes each class fun and inspires me to reach my goals.

Excellent workout sessions! The exercises are not monotonous and the variety makes it interesting. Mike is very professional and he will support you in achieving your goals. The hardest part for me was starting, now that I am seeing results I am so elated and will continue to be apart of the Pro Trainer Live family.
Working out with Jesse has been life changing. Not only is it very convenient that he comes to my house twice a week but it also holds me accountable to exercise. Jesse customizes my workouts to my goals and capabilities and in 13 weeks I have lost 11 pounds, 3 inches around my waist and feel much, much stronger! The teachers are very attentive to individual differences and the exercises they ask me to do at class are easy and amazing. After the first restorative class I could reach much further and without pain in my shoulder. After just a few weeks I am walking differently and my right hip is relaxing! I've wanted to try pole dancing for ages, but never got up enough courage. A few months ago I purchased a package from Groupon and so happy I did. Brittany has a real gift for teaching and making a person feel at ease. She breaks the moves down into steps and is ever so patient and fun! I'm just loving this new way of keeping fit and having a blast. Looking forward to seeing what I can do in a years time!

My journey with fitness has been a long one and I have been to many studios and gyms. I have to rate this place as one of my tops!!! The owners are unbelievable! They super welcoming, energetic and just a pleasure to be around. The space is cozy, clean and upbeat. The socacize class is ah-maz-ing!!! Josephine's Essentrics classes have been a game changer for me. They've helped correct my posture, strengthen my entire body, unlock my hips and shoulders and given me the tools to live without chronic pain due to poor posture. Can't recommend them enough if you want to build a well integrated and balanced foundation for yourself.
Ilderton is so lucky to have such a great facility like Positive Image, 2 minutes from home! I have been so impressed with the quality of trainers I have had a chance to take a class with thus far (Cheryl, Mallerie & Carrie)! I love the option of doing a smart full body strength bootcamp or a spin class which are both such a positive addition to your overall fitness! A visit to Human 2.0 is my favourite way to start the day! The group workouts are varied. The coaches are well-prepared, thoroughly trained, and quick to adapt to individual needs. The atmosphere is always supportive and encouraging. The people, staff and other members, are great people to be around. After almost two years, I know I am stronger, more flexible, healthier, and a better Human! I am hooked - there is no getting bored with your workout here!
Joined this amazing place in November. Loved it from Day 1! There’s a really great vibe here and for once, I felt comfortable and motivated, all at the same time! Love that there is an early morning class and have noticed that my day is a thousand times better when I begin it at Just Train! I discovered Every Woman Fitness by chance since I work at a hospital near by. As a woman in my mid 20's, I have never been physically active in my life so I finally took the step into joining a gym. My first gym ever! Cari is a very welcoming, kind coach and manager. The staff as well are very friendly. The gym itself is small and quaint, and had everything I needed to work out with as someone who was very inexperienced in exercising. After a few months in, I started getting into the routine of my workouts. One year later I feel the need to go to the gym at least 3 times a week!
I feel like I have to thank Every Woman Fitness for making me as active as I am today. If you are considering joining this gym, JOIN! I cannot express enough how they have helped start my love of fitness. It is especially a great stepping stone if you have no experience in any sort of exercise or fitness routine. The machines are not overwhelming, and if you are ever in doubt of using it, just ask any of the coaches and they will gladly help!

3sixty has such an encouraging atmosphere. This studio really is a family and is welcoming to everyone. Don't matters how big, small, strong or weak you are, they build you up in such a way that you can't leave without a smile on your face. Plus having the options for pole, silks and hoop are fantastic!!
I really loved working with Steph. Over the past few months I've learned that I don't have to go out to the gym or need a bunch of equipment to do a great work out. I can do a work out tailored to my personal body/health goals in the middle of my busy schedule right here at home. I am almost 5 months pregnant and still fitting into my regular clothes - jeans included which is amazing considering with my last 2 pregnancies my jeans stopped fitting me after the first month. The work outs are fun, tiring, but also doable. I've also learned that my perceptions of what was healthy eating was a bit off base - healthy carbs are ok!!! I have more energy now than I've had in the last 2 years. If you have any New Years resolutions of wanting to have a healthier body, I absolutely recommend talking to Steph about it. She will encourage you and support you so you reach your goal!
Been working out here for almost a year. I am 49 so I am not looking to get into fights but I enjoy training in a sport I am getting better at. I have definitely toned up, have better endurance and my heart rate is in the low 50s (which is amazing).
The coaches are very friendly and can coach at your level. Also they push you harder then any personal trainer I ever had. What totally surprised me is how well I get along with boxers. I never would have guessed.

Could not be more in love with this studio!! The studio space itself is immaculate and the instructors are all incredible. Even if you go to the same style of class twice in a week, they completely mix up the exercises so no class is the same! After years of trying every studio and exercise class possible, I've never felt stronger in my core or healthier overall!
Super fun workouts! Good variety of exercises thrown at you, very challenging sometimes, but not impossible. Love the intensity and the energy you get from the group in class. Class goes by fast, so energizing, and great instructors!
This is a very easy going place. There is no bs. You walk in and workout. It has squat racks, a deadlift area. All the plates are in pounds though. No kilos. But everything you need to get a workout it. Of course plenty of machines and cardio equipment. It has a clean changeroom and a women's only area. It is open 24 hours a day. If you are dropping in and just need a day pass, you pay 10 bucks. Thats it. No sales pitch. No BS. Always open.
Fast, efficient service. Always on time with appointments and the Physiotherapists and massage therapists are very friendly. Counter staff is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Have been going there for over a year without any issues and they always call 24-48 hours ahead of time to double check time.

I can honestly say that The Wreckroom is by far the best gym I've been a member of. The atmosphere is awesome! The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful - Luke and Matt in particular always go out of their way to provide advice and assistance, helping me get the most out of every workout. I feel like I've learned so much in just 2 months, on everything from technique to killer supersets to mobility and activation exercises, etc (and about a couple sick new death metal bands, too!).
I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for a great place to workout. I've never been happier with a gym and I've certainly never before had coaches who put in as much time and effort to ensuring that every client/member has a positive experience!

Since the first time me and my husband attended a class at black Lotus Kickboxing, we loved it! The owners are so nice, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, hardworking, and have such a great way of teaching that makes it easier to understand and follow. The other students are also so friendly and always helping each other out. Either with helping to perfect a skill, or just being supportive. There’s closer kickboxing classes to us but we would rather drive the hour to black lotus because to us it’s worth it. They make you feel like family and are constantly improving their home with neat class ideas, outings, trips, equipment, etc.... I am looking forward to many years here!
Orange Theory is extremely lucky to have Omar on their team. Both my boyfriend and I always plan our workouts around when he is teaching. I have never met a trainer who was so motivating, encouraging and attentive to individual needs as well as abilities. Every class is filled with awesome music, high fives, personalized challenges, and a room full of people laughing and smiling. He is truly exceptional at his job and it is very palpable that all of his clients agree with me. Omar converted me from someone who hated group workouts to someone who encourages people to look into it.
Fight Fitness is a great place to work out regardless of your fitness level. I just completed the 6 week challenge and I am very happy with the results. I lost 8.2lbs and 5% bf. More importantly I have more energy, feel stronger and can now wear pants that were sitting at the back of my closet for 2 years. The workouts are challenging but never the same, the coaches are super supportive, and always keep you motivated. The atmosphere is friendly and encouraging! I have been suffering from lower back pain as well as knee pain caused by arthritis for a number of years. I have spent thousands on laser therapy on my back and more money for physio for both my knee and back pain. Finally having been accepted for knee replacement I felt we needed to do something a bit stronger or physical to prepare me for my first knee replacement. We researched around and found Nicola Folino who is a petite personal trainer but also specializes in lower back pain. We contracted 10 visits and were pleased with the results. Following recovery from surgery and required physio, my wife and I have both gone back to Nickola pending my second knee replacement. I am walking more confidently than before and my lower back pain has greatly diminished.

Training with Edzo has revitalized my energy and passion for working out. Kim has a natural talent and love for teaching Zumba. Her love for dance and experience as an instructor make her classes the perfect mix of fun and a work out. Her music is always current and the incorporation of optional weights adds overall balance. As a newcomer to Zumba I so appreciate how accepting she and the rest of the participants are. Everyone works at their own level in a relaxed yet motivated atmosphere. Excellent value.
Mark has been my trainer for years. He's hilarious. Knows what he's doing. Always works at your level. Very mindful that everyone is at different places when working out. Definitely check this place out.
Honestly, the best massage I’ve ever had! Sarah takes her role as a healthcare provider very seriously and puts thought and energy into every massage. If you haven’t booked a massage with her you are missing out!
As a local Osteopath, I saw Sadie for traditional Chinese medicine. And had a great experience, a thorough exam and well explained throughout. I have met many practitioners and have no problem in working with or referring patients with Sadie. Thankyou.

This is wonderful place once you want to keep yourself fit and happy. I have tried classes with all instructors and all of the guys are absolutely amazing, very professional, charismatic, friendly and they really know what they do. The fact that bootcamp classes last 30 minutes is perfect not only when you want to make it during your lunch break but also when you want to come back to regular trainings after some break. There is also great atmosphere so you immediately feel like you want to come back there the very next day. Thank you for all the endorphins and soreness

The absolute best decision for my health I have ever made in my life. Cody and all the coaches are absolutely amazing and push me to do things I never thought I'd be able to do. I'm more motivated now than I have been in over a decade of constant struggles. It legitimately upsets me if I miss a day because it has become a healthy addiction. The support and satisfaction you feel here is unlike nothing else I've ever felt, it's a lifestyle, a community and a family that my husband and I don't see ourselves ever leaving. Great instruction and drills for Lacrosse. Good for all ages and experience levels. Positive atmosphere for players. Highly recommended for people who play hockey and lacrosse. Turf area works for multiple sports and dryland training.
Great gym! Probably best in Toronto. New, well kept equipment. Never super busy. Best steam room in the city. Great staff, and smoothie bar. One thing they could do better is extend the weekend hours to 10pm - busy life, would make it easier to hit the gym on the weekends...but love the place :)
I've been trained by Anna for close to 3 years now. Today I am stronger, more confident and full of energy. Core strength has helped me in my everyday tasks but the carefully chosen exercises and challenges keep me excited every time I workout with Anna as her instructions are clear and deliver results. Anna's infectious laugh and warm personality only make this experience that much more enjoyable.
We had an amazing time at NINJAZ Canada. I didn’t know what to expect going in and to be honest was a little scared but Bubba made us feel very comfortable. He showed us around the obstacles and just let us be. I really appreciated all the guidance he gave us and felt really supported the entire time. He gave us tips but let us experience the obstacles for ourselves. My family loved it and we are definitely coming back to complete all the obstacles.
I've had so many gym membership and nothing has worked! The intimate atmosphere and knowledgeable staff are more than willing to get you to your goals! Im excited to work out and even the other members whether it's personal Training or classes are so nice and welcoming. I never feel out of place or like a beginner. Berkeley and Clayton are amazing trainers!
My physiotherapist Nils Perez is very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer any questions or concerns I may have in depth. The staff at the clinic is very professional, notably the reception desk and clinic assistants. The clinic is well kept and provides an ideal environment for recovery. I highly recommend getting treated here!
I reached new highs not only with my squat, but was able to max my bench press at 225 x 3 reps. I don't think I could ever do a full rep at 225 before.

What can I say about Strong Athlete and it's team? As a former competitive athlete, I have seen and experienced many "gyms" and "trainers". Looking back I wish I had this team in my corner when I competed, my competitive career would have been longer. They care about the athlete and their long term health.
My daughter, who is also an elite level athlete, trains here with Coach Gaetan to supplement her taekwondo training. In the year she has been training with Strong Athlete I have seen her not only get stronger physically but mentally as well. My wife and I were so happy with the results we saw with our daughter that we joined as well.

Waters Edge is very accessible and a non-aggressive/peaceful environment. I can always get on any achine when needed there is more than enough equipment here and in great condition.

So happy to have discovered CXT last year. I absolutely love the always changing and challenging workouts, it has kept me motivated and I have noticed a huge improvement in my strength and fitness. Lucy is a powerhouse fitness instructor specializing in postpartum needs. She is motivating, charismatic and flexible. I took her mommy baby bootcamp starting when my son was 6 months and it was a great reason to get out of the house and meet some local moms with babies of similar age. I felt great getting back to working out in a safe and supportive environment. Highly recommend.

I usually train downtown Toronto (where I live) but dropped in on F45 Burlington a few weeks ago and it was an EPIC workout! I am totally in love with this gym - great vibes, hard workout and really amazing/motivating instructor. To me, the most important thing at a gym is it's sense of community and F45 Burlington really has that. Thank so much for the great workout! I'll definitely be dropping by again when I'm back in the area.
I have worked with Marco since July 2018 as part of my rehabilitation program. Marco is easy to work with and his instructions are clear and concise in a humorous manner.
He has the knack of getting you to put in the hard work without realizing or feeling overwhelmed. Loved that he keeps copious notes and can always tell using objective data the changes and improvements over time.
