I start by educating the client on proper nutrition. My approach towards nutrition is a flexible one. I want you to be able to still enjoy the foods you love while achieving your goals AT THE SAME TIME. My training style is a combination of strength training and circuit training. I find this style of training has yielded the best results for my clients.
I got serious with my nutrition. Once I changed the way I ate I started seeing results. I found ways to make the foods I love more macro friendly/healthier. I dropped the "all or nothing" mindset towards food. Once I started incorporating strength training I started seeing major results.
As someone who has struggled with an eating disorder, I love having the opportunity to help others. I also love teaching people about health and fitness. I always try to explain the science of exercise and nutrition to my clients. That way they have the tools they need to succeed even without me.
When I received my personal training certification I applied for training jobs. I noticed that the majority of personal training jobs were focused on sales experience and not actual health&fitness qualifications. I am someone who has hired trainers/coaches in the past.
