I am a fun and enthusiastic singer, pianist, guitarist and songwriter offering private music tuition. I've just finished working as a KS3 music teacher (maternity cover) at Court Moor School as well as being a freelance musician and singer songwriter. I've graduated from the ICMP (Institute of Contemporary Music Performance) based in London with a BA Hons in Songwriting and have been working as a professional qualified musician ever since, touring the country supporting acts such as Paloma Faith, Tom Odell, Bruno Mars and more. My main approach to music is to ensure that students are getting the most out of their instrument, are inspired and are enjoying themselves! Music is fun and should be played effortlessly. In the past, I have taught students that wish to work on specific elements of their playing, taught and prepared students for grade exams and have also given students the opportunity to learn some of their favourite songs. By having this approach to teaching, it enables the student to express themselves which is so vital to developing their overall skills a musician. DBS Checked
