About

Hello!

I believe that if your life is crazy, you need sanity in your training. Most of the advice and programs on the internet tend to be overly confusing and only add to the 'crazy'-my aim is to be an antidote to that.

I see my own training as one of the foundations that hold the rest of my life together, as it produces what I like to call a 'cascade of positivity'.

Steve has made a huge difference to my fitness, my appearance and my attitude. Highly positive influence and friendly, knowledgable PT. Do it.

Since starting training with Steve, my fitness is so much better, I’m stronger, I’ve lost 24lbs in 3 months, I eat more healthily, I have more energy and I can shoot lasers out of my eyes. I can’t recommend his services enough. Steve tailors your sessions and advice to your goals and any issues you may have and works with you to overcome and achieve what you set out for. It’s relaxed, fun and easygoing, but you’ll feel the benefit and understand why you’re doing what you’re doing. 10/10 would plank again. More...

This feels easier than i expected, especially given the results I’m getting. When it comes to fitness, I’ve generally been prone to jumping between 100% effort for a few months to 0% effort for a few more - and back again. Steven has been really encouraging and has helped me find a sustainable pace, whilst still seeing the benefits pretty quickly. I’ve had serious back and neck pain for 20 years. Steven is very attentive to what I cannot do, but is equally creative at finding out what I can do. If one exercise aggravates my pain, he seems to have a dozen alternatives that don’t. Essentially, it’s hard work but I’m enjoying it, my injuries are gradually getting better and I’m not anticipating doing my usual and losing my motivation 6 months down the line. Bodes well. More...

Solid motivator and all round good guy. Having had a murkily diagnosed 'bad knee' for a couple of years, my experience of limping home after a long day at work has become a thing of the past after just a couple of months of Steve's help. Genuine, tangible improvements in a matter of a few sessions. Highly recommended . More...

Steve constantly pushes me to improve while really tailoring the experience to what I want to achieve at the end. We set long term goals, supported by short term ones and he adapts every workout so that me and my partner can train together (which is great for holding each other accountable). I take every part I learn from my PT session every week and incorporate it into my own gym sessions without feeling overwhelmed. The gym space is fantastic, especially in this day and age where you can feel like a squashed sardine depending on what time of the day you go to your regular gym. Steve is encouraging and supportive but pushes you passed the limits you set in your own head. More...

I had very little desire to go to a PT until I discovered that Steve was taking on clients, which should speak volumes in of itself. He is both friendly and approachable, and knows how to get the best out of people and take the pretence out of 'working out'. More...

Steve is a great motivator, he takes me and my partner for joint sessions and manages to get the most out of us that i've noticed the effects physically and mentally.

His attention to detail and patience is second to none, along with being the most positive person I’ve ever met. We discussed previous injuries which were still a big issue in my day to day life and created a plan that worked around building up strength to support progression and for the first time in years I’m seeing huge improvements.

Lost weight, gained muscle, and he only laughs at me a wee bit. Couldn't ask for a better PT.

Steven is just the nicest, most sound guy who totally gets that it's hard and scary at the start, and who works to your own pace to help you gain confidence in your own skills. I was already interested in living a more fit and healthy life before I met Steven, but had no idea HOW. He was so patient with me when, consoling me through my frustrated tears when I had no idea what I was doing, and taking lots of time to explain why certain workouts weren't working and showing me ones that would. He's just the loveliest, most encouraging guy, who hates all that bro jargon as much as I do, and keeps it simple. He just makes it make sense. He made me WANT to do it, and actually look forward to the gym. He's worked harder than anyone I know on the theory of it all, and fully knows his stuff. Would 100% recommend to anyone who's ready to take that first step in living a fitter, healthier, more confident life. More...

Q&As

My over-arching ideal is to educate myself out of a job, ensuring that every one of my clients knows exactly why they’re doing a certain exercise or making adjustments to their diets. I like to tow the line between the journey being fun but also results driven, which can be tough but ultimately gets the best, longest lasting outcomes!

Consistency. Consistency. Consistency. The best plan in the world won’t matter if you can’t make it work in the long term, which is why I put a huge emphasis on making sure my clients training and nutrition plans work specifically for them. Body recomposition is a complex process, but I can show you how it’s done!

I love getting to know my clientele and get a lot of joy helping them. Taking control of your health has a massive positive knock on effect to every other arena of your life, so being the catalyst for that is an amazing feeling.

Going out on your own is scary business, but becoming a PT was my life’s ambition so I took the chance as soon as it arrived. I haven’t looked back since.

I’m good at what I do and aim to offer the best customer experience possible. I’m constantly adapting and evolving my systems and methods to match current research, so your time spent with me will be as efficient and effective as it possible can be. I love my job and take immense joy and satisfaction watching my clients becoming who they want to be!

I use an app to deliver sessions at home/in commercial gyms, and can also deliver 1-1 via zoom/FaceTime etc.

Our gym is completely private, so we have absolute control over the space and the amount of people using it at any given time. We clean equipment in real time and deep clean every few days, and have separate entrance and exit doors.
