What do you love most about your job?

I love dogs and being able to help people create a stronger connection with their pet is my favourite part of the job. Puppy training can be particularly rewarding as well!

Do you offer any specialised forms of training?

I can offer everything from house training a puppy to teaching an adult how to complete an agility course in competition. I specialise in commands and being able to instruct owners on how to handle their pup, as well as teaching them how to better understand their dog. One of the more specialist aspects I train on is separation anxiety.

What variety of training options do you provide for clients?

I believe I offer a great range, including home visits, group sessions, and private one-to-one instructor classes. I’m also happy meeting in a suitable public place such as a dog park. Working with you and your dog, we’ll create a routine that works perfectly.

What qualifications have you achieved?

I have earned qualifications from: the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors, Level 3 CPD Accredited Dog Training, Diploma in Dog Training, and more. I’ve also attended dozens of seminars hosted by leading trainers/behaviourists. I’m a full member of the Guild of Dog Trainers and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

What a terrific trainer Julie is! We’re 4 weeks in to our 6 week puppy class and Rosie is doing so very well. Julie has 20 years of experience and it shows. She’s professional, extremely knowledgeable and can work with any dog no matter the problem. She also gives free advice to those booked on her courses which has been invaluable and I’m very grateful for all her tips. I booked a one to one with Julie as I was struggling with Rosie’s lead walking and lacked the self belief to handle her as I failed to master ‘heel’ with our three previous dogs. She was pulling and jumping up yet in just 15 short minutes under Julie’s guidance Rosie was walking nicely to heel - a miracle in my eyes! I really can’t recommend Julie enough.
