I have only attended a hand full of sessions with Mike so far, after looking at his work over the last year and what he does I decided to take the plunge, the gym is not new to me as I have been training my self for the last 6-7 years, I struggle with progression and feel as though the only improvement I have made is my fitness rather than my strength. I grew up in the 90's and was catapulted into the diet culture. Every fad diet there was, I was trying to do it. But I failed at all of them. I even tried the slimming clubs, and would have what I call the famous 2 pounds. One week the 2 pounds would go, the next week they'd be back. I was on a constant seesaw which I couldn't get off. As I grew older and bouncing between the newest fad going, I began to suffer with anxiety, and would more often than not suffer panic attacks.

I have been going to Laura’s Pilates classes for 5 months now, and I’ve recently started doing her Barre class too. I have tried numerous different Pilates classes as I have suffered with a bad back for a number of years and I can honestly say this is by far the best class I have been too. During this time, I took a Nutrition course and found out everything I know about giving yourself a healthy foundation. I then became a bit of a gym bunny, absolutely loving weight training and jogging. I decided to train to be a PT. I want to help those who feel a little overwhelmed with where to start, and just get them started! I don’t like the thought of anyone being where I was.
I come to your door with all equipment necessary. This is great if you feel a bit nervous to go to the gym. I’m friendly and very patient. I’m not the shout-at-you type, but I will encourage you when I know you can do it. Like I said, you absolutely must love your sessions with me!
