Trained to degree level at what many consider to be one of the finest private gardens in the England, I founded my business in 1999. Our small local business, offers bespoke, expert, Garden Design, Landscaping and Gardening Services for discerning clients in North Essex, South Suffolk and South Hertfordshire. Remaining a micro business was a decision made to enable us to give clients the level of service and quality of work they deserve. Recipients of national awards for our work, we have featured in a prime time TV series and various popular lifestyle magazine. Our team are trained up to degree level at Writtle Agricultural University and have at least 5 years professional experience within the sector, making us unique amongst the competition. New clients enjoy peace of mind due to our membership of the Government Endorsed TrustMark scheme and Association of Professional Landscapers. Matt served a Horticultural apprenticeship at what many consider to be one of the finest privately owned country estates in Europe, and was subsequently employed as a gardener in these grounds. A determined person with a passion for all things Garden, Matt then trained to Degree standard in Landscape Design/Horticulture and Landscape Construction at Writtle Agricultural College. In 1999 Matt decided to fully utilise his skills and formed Miller’s Garden Services which has continued to grow in both reputation and size.
Unlike nearly all of our competitors, we are Real, Professionally trained and Experienced Gardeners! Our staff trained at Writtle and Pershore Colleges and hold various qualifications in Horticulture ranging from Degrees to NVQ's. This is a real benefit for clients as we know what to do when meaning there's no need to micro manage our team unless you're keen to get involved.
Uniquely we offer Regular Gardening Price Plans, Hourly Gardening that you can book and schedule online, offer a complete Landscape Gardening Service including Free Professional Garden/Landscape Designs, and for your reassurance we are one of the few firms in this area that qualify for admission to the "Association of Professional Landscapers" and Government endorsed "TrustMark" schemes.
For those looking for plants, we source from over 400 growers across Europe and can supply any commercially grown plant, tree or shrub from fully mature plants to seedlings. well below RRP. Very pleased with finished result. Job was originally quoted as taking 4 days but because of a couple of hiccups and of course the fabulous British weather it took 2 weeks to complete. The lads worked really hard and were polite and professional. Massive thanks to Scott, Marty, Bradley and Lewis
