I offer a holistic approach to clients and each client gets a tailor made programme to suit their specific needs. I see clients in my home practice or on a Skype call so there is a flexible approach to how I see my clients. I offer a safe place where you are able to talk and work through challenges. I have had several years of experience working with clients to help them achieve their specific goals , I am lucky that clients trust me to help them in their difficult times. I use several therapy styles including- My main Therapy's are Reiki (I am a Reiki Master)This is an ancient holistic /alternative therapy used to combat many problems , from anxiety right through to pain relief. It is non invasive and a totally relaxing experience for the client. Crystal Healing ( crystals can energise and heal when used in a therapy session) Indian Head Massage. ( This is a great way to de stress and relax , allowing you to switch off from your problems) Meditation and breathing exercises ( this helps to centre a person and keep them calm , this is great for anxiety/panic attacks) Talking therapy ( This helps a client to talk to someone outside of their normal life to relieve thoughts) MCBT ( Mindful Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) The above is a list of therapy I offer however it is very unlikely you will need or want all of them, as each client is different I tailor the treatment to suit each person who visits me. What do you love most about your job?

I love that I help people overcome whatever issue they may have, to see a client becoming more empowered or more elated because of my help brings joy to my soul.

I am proud and also happy that I have within me the power to help people in their problems as they may come to me at their lowest time in life and I feel joy for them when I help them come through the other side.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I was inspired to do this business as I have had traumas in my life when I had no one to help support me. through my lifetime I have then started to,learn different techniques to help myself.
I have MS and because of this is suffer many issues up through my holistic approach and my treating of myself I have managed to have normal life. So I wanted to share this with others , I am a compassionate person and I felt my day job wasn't fitting in with my current holistic ,kind approach. So I have chosen to open a Healig Studio to help other people in need of support.

Why should our clients choose you?

I would like to think that because of my skill set and also life experience I can communicate well with everyone.
I'm pretty unshockable and I won't judge anyone who I help.
I am flexible in my approach and won't enforce my personal view on anyone The client is at the centre of all I do so I tailor each package or session to individuals so they feel the most benefit.
I am affordable and do make discounts if The person is on low income or in the service. I want to help people so it's not all about money with me it's also about being kind to other people. Someone most in need may not have funds but they may have something else to offer.
Every month I do a different free gift for my clients so they can have a bit of kind therapy at home.
In the past I have done therapy for a regular client who was out of work cleaner. So she cleaned my studio in return for therapy.
I feel privileged to be able to help people in their life journey and help them navigate through the peaks and troughs that life offers.

Therapist FAQs

This will vary according to the level of experience and training that the therapist holds.

This will depend on where you live, what level of training your therapist has and what they specialise in (whether they are a counsellor, psychotherapist or psychologist) and also how many years of working experience they have.

Your professional therapist will be able to advise you on the full range of therapies available and will be able to help you select the best one to suit your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a trusted therapist today.

You need to devote some time to finding the right therapist as the connection you have with your therapist is essential. You need someone who you can trust, someone you feel comfortable talking to about difficult subjects and intimate secrets, someone who will be a partner in your recovery. Therapy will not be effective unless you have this bond, so take some time in the beginning to find the right person.

It is worth talking to a few potential therapists and asking questions. Therapists also have special areas of focus, such as depression or eating disorders. For some issues, such as trauma or PTSD, seeing a specialist is absolutely essential.

Everyone’s treatment is different. How long your therapy lasts depends on many factors.

You may be offered a single session of counselling, a short course of sessions over a few weeks or months or a longer course that lasts for several months or years.

It can take a number of sessions before you start to see progress but you should gradually start to feel better with the help and support of your trusted Bark therapist.

Professional counsellor training takes three to five years and can be a diploma or degree level. Qualification requires a minimum number of client hours acquired through a work placement.

You may also want to ask for testimonials of their recent work. You could also look at their profile page on Bark and Bark can show you reviews from past customers who have used their therapy.

Therapy has repeatedly and consistently helped patients with a whole host of issues. It can help with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety or an eating disorder. Or it can help with an upsetting physical health condition such as infertility, a difficult life event such as a bereavement or a relationship breakdown. It can also be used to tackle difficult emotions such as low self-esteem, anger or sexual identity issues. Therapists also offer couples therapy. Therapists can also help with anxiety issues deriving from the coronavirus.

Absolutely! Many therapists offer sessions over the phone or through an online video chat platform, so you can have a session from the comfort of your own home - all you need is a strong internet connection and you're good to go.
