Lotus Blossom Counselling

Hi, I'm Digna. People reach out to me when they are tired of not feeling good enough. They’ve had enough with the non-stop self-doubt, indecision and the intense emotions that come with it. You might be tired of saying “yes” when what you really want to say is “no”. Comparing yourself to others whilst scrolling through social media or people you know leaves you feeling unhappy and less than. Life is getting out of control You might avoid people and miss out on opportunities because you are afraid of what could go wrong and that you’ll be embarrassed. The voice inside keeps telling you “You can’t do anything right, people will see what a failure you are”. Perhaps these difficulties affect your relationships. You find yourself in trapped suffocating relationships where you feel controlled. You’re scared and worried about what might happen if you tell others about how you’re feeling. You know something is not right but you don’t know how to change things. You've just learned to survive. “It’s not always that bad” you tell yourself at times. But deep down you know things can’t go on like this forever. Counselling can make sense of difficulties. I will provide you with emotional support by offering you a warm, empathic, confidential and non-judgemental space. By offering you a different perspective it can allow you to see problems and issues in a way that you may not have noticed before. In this space, you can start to gain awareness and acceptance from which healing and change can begin. I am a qualified integrative counsellor and I am registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). As well as my counselling training and experience I also draw on my own personal experiences and life lessons that I've learnt along the way. I have previous experience working as a Childline volunteer counsellor and as a volunteer counsellor at the Sangam centre. I offer a free no-obligation chat over the phone (usually lasts around 15-20 minutes) please feel free to call/text on 077•• •••••• or email me at i•••••@••••.com. I look forward to hearing from you.

What do you love most about your job?

I love being able to support and empower other people. It is such a privilege and honour to be able to be a part of other people's healing and self-discovery.

What inspired you to start your own business?

My parents always had their own business, so from a young age I always dreamed of having my own business but I had no idea what in until I decided I wanted to train as a counsellor. I then knew I would one day open up my own business as a counsellor and be able to support other people.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am down to earth, warm and friendly and I have always been very empathic and compassionate towards other people. As well as my counselling training and experience I also draw on my own personal experiences and lessons that I've learned along the way.

I will offer you different perspectives enabling you to see problems and issues in a way that you may not have noticed before. With this new perspective, you may feel more hope for the future, we can identify tools or other options to help you to find ways of coping and living your life.
