Why seek counselling or therapy ? You might be going through changes in your home life, work life, relationships or health. You might be living with uncomfortable feelings like stress, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, anger, or loneliness. Or struggling with processing trauma or abuse (which includes gaslighting) and unable to talk about this in every day life. Talking to a trained therapist at times like this can help put your life back on track.

Christine has been a great therapist. I have never done therapy before and she is so understanding made me feel safe to talk about any issues I have. The tools given are so useful and I am using them everyday to subdue/feel my anxiety. Would definitely recommend her to anyone who is struggling on where to start.
I provide counselling for depression, anxiety and stress. Bereavement and loss. And coaching for anyone who wants to make lifestyle changes, gain focus and motivation and explore what's next on life's journey. I work holistically using traditional counselling methods as well as meditation, mindfulness and creative visualisation. I have also worked with Relate for 10 years as a Relationship Therapist and Clinical Supervisor.

I came to Laine with a specific issue I was struggling with around 6 months ago, and I'm so glad that our paths colided. Laine is an incredibly empathetic therapist with the ability to be direct when needed. Laine truly got me, and really helped me peel back the layers of some underlying issues that needed addressing. I have learnt a lot about myself over this time and Laine truly made me feel safe and comfortable to be open and honest. I highly recommend Laine and I know that should I need to, Laine will be who I go back to in the future. xx

I started working with Lori as I was really broken, I couldn’t cope anymore and I felt I’d be better off not here. It took quite sometime to unravel my troubled brain and get to the bottom of my damage.
I am so happy now that I have so many tools and strategies to keep myself mentally healthy and content with my lot.
As soon as I sat down with Lori she made me feel at ease with her, I really was a big ball of anger when I first started going and now I am not. I will continue my journey with Lori on a maintenance basis as I love to have that safe space where I can discuss personal matters and worries.
I am an impactful coach that helps people build confidence through self-rediscovery and unlocking the freedom to achieve their goals. If you feel lost, know you are much more than what you are, and have so much more to offer but you don’t know how, then I am your coach. I am a breaker of barriers, with the skills and experience to identify barriers and obstacles, providing you the freedom and strength to break free from them.

I experienced the very quick onset of panic attacks & anxiety issues, something I never thought would happen to me. I really was at a crisis point & a colleague suggested Sue Lane.
As a sceptical person I wasn't sure how much, if any, this could help me. I had it in my mind I was only going for one session as I was convinced I would feel like this forever & nobody could help me. When I meet Sue she was extremely professional but offering me much compassion, she could see I was at boiling point. I was overthinking & worrying about everything. Sue taught me that I couldn't control everyone and their actions being there responsibility, not mine. At the height of my panic she gave me super advice on coping mechanisms & breathing patterns. I had sessions over a period of 6 months.
I went through a lot of life changing events in my early twenties continuing into my early thirties including near death experiences, bullying in the workplace & bereavement. These events started to bite back approaching my forties. I never thought after this long period of time that was the root cause of my panic & anxiety and surely counselling would be of no use to me. I only tried it as a last resort but I should of done it so much sooner.
After the counselling finished I could refer back & use the techniques. I am now in a much better place & so much more like my old self. I do owe a huge thank you to Sue.

Kruti is a dynamic young counsellor who instantly makes you feel at ease and remarkably she can ascertain, after just one session, what all your problems are. I didn’t realise why I was angry, irritable and the real reason I lacked self confidence. She is helping me reverse all the harm that has been done. Outstanding counselling.
