Q&As

I love that everyone is different and unique, with their own story to tell. We've all had different life experiences to get us to where we are today. Some people have had struggles, others look as if they have sailed through life. I enjoy getting to know people and helping them through some of those struggles.

Have you ever had an important role model in your life? Someone, whom you respect, and admire for who they are? You want to do anything to please them and make them proud of you?
Maybe a parent, grandparent, close relative or friend.
My father was this person in my life, but unfortunately, I only realised he was my role model too late after he had passed away.
Once I struck upon the idea of completing my Practitioner course in NLP, he paid for this course and offered to pay for the Master Practitioner course. He seemed genuinely fascinated with my new learning and enjoyment of NLP, particularly quantum linguistics. However, two weeks after completing my Practitioner course, he passed away suddenly. This was quite a shock to the system and meant my NLP journey was on hold. In fact, it went on hold for another two years before I felt ready to pick up the NLP baton, knowing it would be even more of an emotional journey doing the Master Practitioner course.
It was whilst I was clearing out my father’s belongings that I found documents he had written regarding an aspiration he had had earlier in life. His was a scientist by trade. But it was from reading through these documents that he talked about his interest in psychology and wanting to be a social worker. He volunteered his time for the local church running a Sunday School section for 40 years and tutored (for free) various friends (and the postman’s son) through their GCSE maths. I believe that his wanting to serve people, voluntarily, prompted him to consider this career change. It never happened. But it didn’t stop him from leaving his door open (metaphorically speaking!) for anyone who wanted to chat and he’d always be ready to listen and offer sound advice.
And that’s why I feel passionate about helping people find their way in life. My father touched the lives of many. As he’s my role model, I want to do the same. If I can make just one small positive change in someone’s life then I will feel like I have achieved this great accolade

Making changes and stepping outside your comfort zone can be scary. That's why I offer a free chemistry chat so we can get to know each other first before embarking on a life-changing journey.

Without sounding too much like a dating profile, I am warm and friendly, with a sense of humour. My bad jokes may make an appearance if you're lucky. I'll be open and honest with you, if you'll be open and honest with me.

I have a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and a Diploma in Hypnotherapy. With a variety of tools in my toolkit, I'm sure we can find the right path that works for you.

Yes, I use Whereby to provide online video services. No login is required, just use your internet browser.
I have been offering hypnotherapy online too for the past year. I find this works equally as well as face-to-face sessions, perhaps better. This is because the client feels more comfortable in their own home and surroundings and doesn't have the stress of travelling.

The ability to work remotely has been a big change.
