Hello and thank you for reading my profile. I am a fully qualified counsellor who can help you with issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, PTSD, relationship issues, the impact of abuse (whether this be as a child or adult) and low self-esteem. Sometimes difficult life events like bereavement, relationship breakdown and loss of employment mean we feel lost and experience feelings that are overwhelming and hard to manage. I offer low cost counselling as I believe counselling should be available to as many people as possible. I charge a flat fee of £35 per session. I offer a warm, confidential and accepting space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment so you feel understood and able to find a way forward. I work with you to help you better understand yourself and what's going on for you, and to find coping strategies that work for you personally. And in a space where you can be real and completely yourself. I understand that taking those first steps towards counselling is not always easy and I will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you might have on a no obligation basis.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Having the flexibility to work with people doing what I love.

Why should our clients choose you?

I work at your pace so you won't be expected to talk about anything until you feel ready.
I offer a warm, non-judgmental and understanding approach so that I can find out what it's like to be you. I use a range of counselling skills and approaches to best suit the needs of each individual client. I believe in building a trusting and effective relationship with every client so they feel valued and accepted, no matter what they're feelings, behaviours or experiences. I regularly review with clients how they feel therapy is going for them and warmly encourage all clients to be open about their needs, likes and dislikes in the work - after all, the aim of therapy is to achieve the best possible outcome in the best possible way.

I offer low cost counselling (£35 per session) as I believe counselling should be available to as many people as possible.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I currently work only online using Zoom. If you decide to work with me (or any online counsellor) it is important that you ensure you have a safe and confidential space in which to conduct your counselling sessions. For anyone unfamiliar with Zoom I am more than happy to provide whatever support you may need.
