Nicky Harbridge Counselling and Psychotherapy

About Me I am a fully qualified BACP registered integrative counsellor who works with adults, couples, young people and children. As well as my private practice in Sudbury Suffolk I have also worked as Child and Family Practitioner for a charity organisation counselling young children and women who are survivors of sexual violence and abuse. I run regular training courses for fellow counsellors in Suffolk and have lectured on counselling children and young people at University Campus Suffolk. How I work As an integrative counsellor, I work holistically by integrating different therapy skills into my practice in order to provide a service which will suit individual needs. In my training I have developed a skills set which includes talking therapy, solution focused therapy, mindfulness based stress reduction, CBT, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and therapeutic art and play techniques. Some of the issues which I support clients with are; anxiety - depression - work stress - bereavement - mental health - eating disorder - sexual issues - relationship issues - trauma rape/sexual abuse - transition - personal development

Cambridge clarity counselling

I am an FDAP accredited counsellor working from a private practice in Cambridge. I trained at Bath University as a counsellor specializing in Addictions. I have over a decade of professional experience in helping people overcome many issues - such as destructive behavioural patterns including addictive disorders, I also specialize in family therapy and trauma ,anxiety ,low self-worth and relationship problems. I work with compassion and integrity, and by building client relationships based on mutual respect I believe great healing can take place. Treatment can take a number of different forms; I work alongside each person in order to create a therapy that's tailored to meet their own specific needs. I work in an integrative way which includes Motivational Interviewing techniques, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness. I also incorporate family systems work into my practice. I am fully committed to my own personal and professional development as I believe this is key to being a competent practitioner. I am only too aware of the fear involved in asking for help, by working alongside each other together we can process your fears and move you into a happier place in your life. In my experience the journey out of problematic behaviours and family entanglements is difficult to resolve alone, I am here to help you find a way forward.
