I politely ask you to please read through the whole of my profile before inviting me to contact you. I much prefer to meet potential new clients for a 'connection session' - free of charge - so that we can get to know one another, for me to see what's going on with you, and how I can be of service to you. This initial free chat is online via Zoom and generally lasts thirty-minutes to one-hour.

If you read a few of these reviews you might see words to the effect “It’s hard to put into words what Phil has done for me”. I find myself in the same position as these other reviewers - and entirely happy to be here. Simply put, Phil’s approach is about simplifying things and about helping people to find their own personal truth. To go further in description is impossible, as what he offers is much deeper - yet still totally accessible - just not easily described. I was all about complexifying things and quite enjoyed getting mixed up in difficult theories (which were usually not applicable to me at all) so it took me a little while to ‘get it’ but then it dawned on me and I’m so happy it did. Beyond the fact that Phil is a genuinely gentle, caring person, his unusual and very interesting real life experience adds an extra dimension to his understanding and empathy. I can’t recommend him enough.

I have known Wesley for about 6 years. He is a very good listener and an experienced counsellor, life coach and mentor. He helped me with a number of relationship issues and also with advice on bereavement. We had a number of sessions where I would relax and discuss my many issues I had with him.
He gave me sound advice and it has helped me a great deal. My doubts about my relationship are now more positive and he has given me the confidence to take things forward with a much more relaxed approach. I would happily recommend his services.

I work as an integrative counsellor with 200+ hours of experience working with adults and young people. I primarily use person-centred and psychodynamic approaches, focusing on the thoughts and emotions a person is having in the present and exploring how past experiences may impact their feelings and behaviour today. There are times in every person's life when things feel overwhelming, hopeless or impossible and it can be difficult knowing what to do in these moments or where to turn to for support.

Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy, Hypno-Counselling. I specialise in treating Anxiety disorders. I have been successfully treating clients for General Anxiety and Panic attacks. Hypnotherapy works on Cause and Effect, something in your past has caused you to feel, think in a certain way that is holding you back. It has created certain beliefs you hold about yourself. If those feelings and beliefs are causing you to feel symptoms of anxiety, low confidence, anger, depression or simply not feeling 'good enough'.
With more than 10 years’ experience working within drug and alcohol, addiction, and mental health settings across Greater London, I have supported individuals on a one to one basis as well as deliver a number of different types of support group sessions, to people experiencing mental health and emotional difficulties, which has in turn enabled them to integrate coping strategies and techniques to manage their day to day difficulties and lead a more fulfilling life. In addition, I manage, as well as deliver, a ‘Talking Therapy’ service for disadvantaged young people, as well as manage and deliver a mental health well-being project for the leading national mental health charity - Mind. Our sessions allow you to talk about whatever life event or situation is causing you unhappiness or distress. You will be offered a safe and confidential space to talk about your problem, support to address and opportunities to explore areas to grow and change.
I feel absolutely privileged to be invited into other peoples personal lives, I understand how important it is to create a working relationship with people and to create a safe space where people can come and share their distress within confidential and non-judgemental environment. I understand how important it is to feel heard.
Having had my own struggles throughout life and trying to mange my emotions with unhealthy coping strategies, such as addiction to substances, co-dependency, anger, anxiety, fear and depression amongst others.
I reached a place in my life where I knew that I could not go on living my life this way. I both needed and wanted to change, but did not know how.
Being in recovery now for over 10 years has given me a fantastic insight into both myself and how to better be able to manage my life without all of the aforementioned.
I knew from the time that I began to help others that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I am absolutely passionate about helping others and encouraging people to look within themselves for the many answers which lie within.
I am passionate about helping others.
I believe that change is possible and given the right conditions, most people can improve upon their emotional well-being.
I am reasonably priced, offering some low cost therapy as well as working on a sliding scale with regards to earnings and cost of therapy.
I have a lived life experience which I firmly believe has been my greatest teacher in life.
I care.
