What do you love most about your job?

I love being able to help people in difficult times, when they feel like they are perhaps losing touch with the things that matter to them the most. By developing a therapeutic and trusting relationship with people, I am able to guide them towards their values and goals, allowing them to re-connect with the things and the people around them which are important

What inspired you to start your own business?

Having worked in healthcare for 15 years, I became more and more aware of the increasing demand on services and the restrictions on access with increasingly high thresholds. This made me feel more and more frustrated as the gaps between service and need widened, and I decided to set something up which was not restricting access to people- a service which could be accessible to those who wanted it, with the ability to deliver the vital message that emotional resilience skills do not appear at birth, yet we can all learn to improve our coping skills, alongside our understanding of our own and others' experience to reach a level of acceptance which is effective in allowing us to live fulfilled and satisfied lives.

Why should our clients choose you?

People feel comfortable talking with me as I take the time to listen, make sense of their story, and relay it back to them in a way which is validating of sometimes very difficult experiences.

I have 14 years experience working in child and adolescent mental health services, experience delivering adult and children's group therapy and have many many satisfied customers from the past few years of private practice.


My practice is overseen by the BABCP with whom I am registered as an accredited CBT therapist, and I also hold DBT qualification and RMN (mental health nurse) status. I continually improve my practice through attendance at CPD (continuing professional development) events, training and workshops.
