What do you love most about your job?

I love meeting and connecting with new people and helping them overcome their blocks in their lives. I also love the community around the clinic space. It's very healing and there is a lot of positive people around for additional support for my clients if they need it.

What inspired you to start your own business?

It's something I've been doing since 2009 in some form. I enjoy helping others through healing modalities and having my own business has allowed me to express that.

Why should our clients choose you?

My clients should intuitively "know" if I'm the right fit for them. My intention is to help my clients heal in the most easiest, quickest and effective way that is right for them.
I work intuitively and also use a number of Buddhist psychological principles in my work. I am a member of the Australian Hypnotherapists Association and I attend regular supervision, so I am blessed to have the support of some very experienced psychotherapists whom I can call on should the need arise.

For quite a number of years I struggled with my self worth, with understanding why I matter too and why I too deserve a voice of empathy toward myself internally. I had seen counsellors here and there since the age of 9 which is almost 2 decades ago now, then from this I saw some therapists a little later on in life but felt that maybe I was not meant to be the kind of person who goes to therapy since none of that really worked out for me. Many a times I found therapy useless before finding Reni, this is due to the fact that I never felt seen, heard or fully understood, I felt like a number that the therapist would want to cross off of their to do list, I felt cuddled instead of guided to solve issues and mostly I felt like my problems were not been delved into to find the core answers to my why’s. I basically gave up on therapy and thought perhaps life is meant to be figured out on my own, I thought to myself maybe if i endure life long enough the why's will answer themselves. It wasn’t until 2 years later when I really hit rock bottom that I somehow came across Reni. From the very first video introduction call with her I felt that she had a way of analysing me that made me feel safe and somehow understood. It’s almost like she could see me. I’ve now been in therapy with her since October and can say that the women who started the 1st session is not the girl that stands here today which has left me shocked as I went into this with a "que sera" attitude. I’ve not only understood myself, why I’m important, why my feelings matter. But I also finally understand the core issues that were leading me into the repetitive thoughts and actions I struggled with. I went from having extreme fear of the future to enjoying the now, from letting people step on my toes to having the courage of setting boundaries, having deep empathy toward myself and most importantly understanding who I am! This has not only helped in transforming my thoughts but also with the grief I have struggled to get rid of for years with other therapists. I had done hypnotherapy when I lost a loved one but it never worked on me until Reni. Now I can say that I have been able to let go of what could have been so that I can appreciate what was and still is. I’m so grateful that I have been lead to Reni’s practice as this has truly changed me, both inside and out, I see the results in myself in just the few months of therapy with her than I ever did in all the years of seeing counsellors and other therapists. I highly recommend her especially if you are someone who just like myself has dealt with intense childhood trauma, the loss of someone and you’re struggling with the guilt and regret, not having the self love you’d wish you had, extreme anxiety and fear! I have had several sessions with JP to help me understand and apply German New Medicine in my battle with triple negative breast cancer.
