My daughter started GCSE english, maths and science with Ricky few weeks ago and I can say that the improvement can be seen . Ricky is a very helpful tutor, he is sending out very helpful materials and homeworks after each lesson and the most helpful is that he is teaching her new things that she didn’t learn yet in school, so by the time when she starts them in school she will be well prepared ahead with them. Ricky engages all students in classes and makes sure everyone understands what he is teaching them and help them where struggling. Very prompt as well when contacting him with questions. Thank you Ricky, I will highly recommend you to anyone who will ask for a private tutor!

PROFESSIONAL MATHS & ENGLISH TUITION. We provide professional tuition in English and maths for children aged 5-16 in preparation for SATs, 11+ and GCSE's or simply because they need to catch up. Success in learning helps to boost a child’s self-esteem and encourages a positive attitude towards learning. Kip McGrath has been the leader in after school tuition for 40 years, focusing on English, reading, spelling, comprehension and maths, for primary and secondary students.
I am a tutor dedicated to your child achieving their full potential. Often huge classes of 30 - 32 children can be quite daunting, especially when the teacher cannot focus solely on your child when needed the most. (Phone) That's where I, a tutor, comes in. I target the parts your child needs to focus on as well as ensuring that they are satisfactory (number) in all their topics.

I took my 5 year old daughter here for a free assessment following her end of year school report. My husband and I were very pleased that we were given honest feedback by Howard, who was thorough and professional. We were dubious as to whether or not our daughter’s abilities might be played down to encourage us to pay for future sessions, but I am delighted that this was not the case at all. We really appreciated this honesty, and I would absolutely recommend the free assessment to get objective feedback on how your child is performing academically. I would definitely use I Love to Learn for any future tutoring for my daughter.

Lisanne is a great tutor. She is very organised and uses a number of teaching styles to keep the pace moving. Her style is welcoming and supportive and she maintained a sense of humour despite the fact that as 'mature' students we were not always 'on task'!
I have particular appreciation for her willingness to flex what was covered to accommodate Spanish that we thought would be most useful to us (ie a detailed menu / requesting different types of cooking).
She has also agreed to give our family an Ad Hoc Refresher lesson in a couple of months' time so that we can hopefully utilise as much of what we have learned when we visit Menorca later this year.
Thank you very much Lisanne. It has been a pleasure x

My daughter enjoys having math tuition with Roo. She enjoys having her weekly support which she says, has given her confidence in her school environment. My daughter especially enjoyed attending summer school for the first time this year; it was a positive impact for her as she has made a significant improvement in this subject.
Also, I love the Spinnaker Tuition Centre's facilities.:)

Our Approach Education should be affordable and tailored in a way to suit you. Every person has a different learning style and we accommodate for that in personalised lesson plans and worksheets. Who Are We? I am Alice, a Mathematics Graduate with a passion for learning and teaching. Having spent some time working in a school as an A Level Teacher I realised that Maths could be taught in a better way. This made me decide to take action and begin tutoring with a different concept… Maths is fascinating! No really, it is! This is something I want to encourage students to believe and appreciate. So many aspects of maths can be found in nature and every day life. Considering that our personal banking data online is protected by relatively simple mathematical methods should give you an increased admiration of how important maths is. Why Stemina? When I was starting up this website I wanted it to have a short name, easy to remember, but also related to the subjects I wanted to focus on; STEM subjects. These are Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. After playing with the word STEM, I came up with Stemina, a nice cross between STEM and the word stamina. The perfect fit for what I was trying to achieve! What’s next? Stemina is in very early days and will take a while to develop. At the moment, I can tutor in Mathematics but will be branching out into the other subjects when I have more time. If you are a tutor looking for work come and join the team here. What’s your aim? I would like to make Stemina Tutoring into a successful STEM tutoring business; a firm that can help children and adults who struggle to understand and learn these subjects. The most important factor for me personally, is I want to make tutoring affordable! Why should after-school education be priced out of range of the students that would really benefit from it? I am also aiming to personally advocate Women in STEM. As a female maths graduate I feel that is essential to encourage more girls to study Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. Where are you located? I am living in Southampton and travel around Hampshire to deliver sessions to children, adults and groups. I do offer accessible remote sessions too.
I get to meet children (and adults!) from all walks of life, whether they think maths is the best thing since sliced bread, or whether they couldn't care less about algebra. Often I am faced with worried parents who say "my child isn't bad at maths, they just have confidence issues". After a few weeks of tutoring it is humbling to have positive feedback from students and parents saying how pleased they are with the progress being made and how much easier it all seems.
As a female maths graduate I was well aware of the lack of women in STEM subjects. I felt that as a young mathematician I was in a fantastic position to work with young people and show them their potential. I believe if girls were provided with the confidence boosts then many more would approach STEM degrees and careers.
At Stemina, tutoring will always be affordable - with the growing technological advances knowledge can be sought out at the click of a button. With educational support and many media in which to learn from the next generation can become generation education!
