What do you love most about your job?

I love my job as it enables me to be authentic and get results; I'm not one for faff and fluff, no tie dye, joss sticks or couches.
On the basis of a firm foundation of person centred therapy I blend supportive face to face CBT counselling with coaching and professional education to give strategies to manage changes in both personal, family and work life.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Having worked as a counsellor within organisations for many years I was able to see the benefit of counselling for clients. However, various organisation held clients back as they stayed in a strict counselling model without any dynamic movement forward. They often didn't take into account the clients life style and appointment needs. Having my own practice since 2005 has enabled me to work on models of both counselling and coaching which for many means rapid movement forward. I am also able to be flexible to work appointments around my clients which include evenings, weekends, face to face, telephone and online support.

Why should our clients choose you?

Qualified in both Person Centred Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Life Coaching
BACP Supervisor for therapists
Mentor/counsellor for students taking a Diploma in Counselling or other types of personal development training
