Bay Hill Fitness

Over 30 years in personal training and 25 years owning and operating a private training gym in Massachusetts (1997 -2022) about 15 minutes North of Boston. Brett Parker was educated at Northeastern University in Physical Therapy and Orthopedics. While initially training clients in area gyms, Brett noticed the need for individuals who felt intimidated in the gym "atmosphere". "Total Body Engineering" was opened (at first with no mirrors...clientele didn't want them). Then applying the principles learned in rehabilitational and clinical practice Brett adapted those concepts to the gym to create his training mode. From teens getting ready for sports, couples or individuals getting "back in the game" or more seasoned adults, looking forward to a better quality of life. It's been our motto to, "Create the Body you have always wanted".

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

Constantly motivating, changing up routines and making it as much fun as possible. WORK...(OUT) is a four letter word so, we need to find the balance and push but not overpush to get there.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Being PERSISTENT!!! Everyone wants the "magic" answer, there is none. Taking a steady and planned course of action can make amazing changes. My motto has always been, "Create the Body you have always wanted". As long as the individual is realistic I truly think they can "create" that.

What do you love most about your job?

Seeing people accomplish goals they thought were impossible. When I first started training, I had a client yell, "I cannot do that". So, the first thing he did...was ...that. Afterwards I said, "Ok..what else cannot you do?" That changed everything with him and I never looked back on that mindset.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Working in gyms around Boston. I saw a lot of clients not comfortable with the atmosphere. Either they were intimidated by people who have been training for a long time or were not yet comfortable with themselves in the mirror. I wanted to change that and in 1996, I did.

Why should our clients choose you?

My experience with the full gamut of clientele. Professional athletes, injury rehab, chronic injuries, kids, people who never worked out before and an 88 year old Great Grand Mother. I love what I do and try to make it as fun as possible BUT as effective as possible.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

100% absolutely. I have clients still in Boston I see on facetime and we train live online, full session "in person". I built a full gym in my house so, I can explain everything in there.
I am 100% remote. I will travel to the client and bring anything needed to train effectively.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Online training and If andwhen a client wants to wear a mask, we can do whatever is need to make them feel comfortable.
