I just wanted to come on here and leave a review about Fitness CF. I am staying in Orlando a few weeks for work. I didn't want to pay for a full membership considering I am only here temporarily. Bryan with sales was not only very informative, but he helped me find a Groupon card for the gym for the month. He understood everything I discussed with him and greatly helped me out. I loved Fitness CF! I was a member for over a year (initially signed a year long contract) and then went month to month. I recently started a new job and unfortunately I am not on that side of town anymore. I decided to cancel my membership, and unlike a few people on here, felt the process was seamless! I called an 800 number, they were able to give me the info I needed, and then I easily cancelled. Because they need 30 days notice, I had to pay my final months membership which was fine. As long as nothing changes, I will definitely return if I move back to Dr. Phillips! First off, I would like to start this comment explaining what kind of member I am. I always greet the employees, always rerack my weights, clean the machines I use, never scream or bang weights. Basically I always mind my business! I have just started my 4th month. Unfortunately today I had the worst customer experience I could possibly think of, I was approached by the manager and was told the bag I was using to keep my personal items was too big and that I would need to take it back in he dressing room, I explained that I keep Big items like my weight belt and boxing gloves. He again said I would need to take it back inside. With out an issue, I said it was ok and that I would take care of it. I then decided to end my work out early, left the machine I was at, and headed to the boxing area. I was planning on hitting the bag for 5 mins before I left. About 1 min later the manager walks up to me again, this time with another male employee ( I figure it was to intimidate me). What upset me the most was the way he was talking to me. I already told you that bag needs to go, I already talked to you. I never thought I’d be spoken too with such disrespect! He kept repeatedly asking me if I wanted to cancel my membership! I began to feel unwanted, like he wanted me to cancel my membership! I was appalled by the situation, treated me like scum, like I was doing something extremely wrong!I really enjoy the gym itself, but the service of the said manager, disgraceful!! Wonderful place to workout. Staff is friendly and facility is clean. $35 gets you unlimited classes which would cost you hundreds if you were paying individually elsewhere. I love this place! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly! There is an array of equipment that is well-maintained, and in proper working order. The gym is clean and spacious. Even when it's busy I never feel that it's overly crowded. And last but not least, Sam is an amazing personal trainer! I'm sure that every personal trainer there is awesome, however Sam is the man... He will challenge you throughout the entire workout, and you'll have fun in the process. I would highly recommend this facility! More...

CF Fitness is amazing! I’ve been a member for the last few months and I’m really impressed!My fitness experience starts at the front desk with a friendly welcome from the attendants, usually, it’s Brian and John. They always make me feel welcome and appreciated. Brian is so attentive to his job that I’ve started calling him Mr. CF Fitness! He take’s his job seriously and I like that!The entire facility is well equipped and super clean! On one visit I noticed another employee named Brian in the men’s locker room. He was actually on a ladder cleaning the tile where the wall meets the ceiling at 10’. Who does that! I made an effort to tell him what a great job he is doing and appreciate his extra efforts. If he’s taking the time to clean there I know he taking care of business. I’m particularly enjoying all the classes offered. It really makes working out a lot more interesting than just using the equipment by yourself. They offer all kinds of different classes and I’m making an effort to try each one out. So far I’ve tried BodyPump, Yoga, BodyFlow, Spinning, CXWORKS, BodyCombat and a few more. The classes are awesome and really kicking my butt, but that’s why I’m there! The instructors make working out a fun time! Encouraging, supportive, high energy and professional. Most welcome new attendees and repeat ones too at the start of the class They even take the time to ask and remember your name. I like that, I’m feeling the love! Three instructors that really stand out are Carmen, Trisha and Anna Maria. Anna Maria, she is a hoot! Always high energy, funny and makes you feel welcome. She’s from Italy and I dont always understand what she’s saying but I love going to her classes! Lol. Need a personal trainer, they have a bunch! I’ve spent some time with just two personal trainers, Louis and Jose. Both were very helpful and professional. Not sure if I will need their help as I’m still exploring all the CF has to offer but it’s reassuring to know it’s available. I go there all the time. Used to be Gold’s Gym. Different company same gym facility. Missed the old AB Solo. New one is awkward, for me anyways. Staffs are nice and friendly. Locker and bathroom is clean. Sauna works most of the time but that’s OK. I’m not fussy! More...

I give it a 4 stars so far so good but one little problem on the yoga class i was hopping for relaxation and do yoga in peace of mind but today was a bad yoga class this teacher lady wont shut up at all talking and talking about stuff it was not yoga. The music she had was 80s i was hopping for water falls and tree sound or winds sounds but no music from the 80 wtf in the case i would of take the zumba class i was so not in the zone at all. Thas the only thing i dint like about it. Hope next yoga class with a different instructor would be better. Cf fix the class from Friday 5:30pm shes a talkive lady. More...

I love that gym , even I love it more when has the name of golds gym ... but I really don’t like the administration and the managers right now . .. I guess they don’t care that much of us as greeting you or assisting you on anything you need .... as I said I been there for 10 years already and I know what exercises to do and I love the equipment but but the crew ... 4 stars for the equipment and the hours ... the staff have to do more than that More...

The maintenance and selection of equipment for this gym has been par none for the past ten years i've been around. Staff are always polite, cheerful, and helpful. That the owner/operator has decided to leave the Gold's franchise seems to reflect that the facilities themselves are so well established in central Florida that remaining in the franchise would be restrictive. I have been going to this club since 2003 and I travel past LA fitness to do so. Extremely friendly staff always. Huge cardio stadium area with a big plasma TV wall makes cardio really fly by. I injured my shoulder and couldn't workout for a few months. The account was still being charged as the time went by. Called the management and Bill froze my account and said to let him know when I'm ready to go back. When I returned, another manager reactivated my membership and credited my account for future months, since I didn't go to the gym when I was injured. Great experience, great service.One thing I have to say, though. The dumbell area is a bit messy and the weights are hard to find. But I do understand it's due to members' carelessness. I have been a member of Fitness CF (formally Golds) for nearly 15 years and can honestly say it’s one of the best and cleanest family fitness facilities in all Central Florida. They provide outstanding customer service, extremely knowledgeable staff/fitness instructors and superior modern equipment. Despite the recent expansion of fierce competitors such as 24 Hour Fitness, Planet Fitness, Anytime Fitness, YouFit, and LA Fitness. Fitness CF (Formerly Golds Gym) is still the best gym in town. It has the most machines and amenities and is very reasonably priced. It is also 24 hours. The gym is always super clean and the staff is very professional and friendly. They also offer the same amenities they used to under the Golds Gym brand. The cardio theatre is awesome and the variety of machines is impossible to find at other gyms in town. It's got something for everyone. They still have all the same Les Mills classes they've always had. It truly is the best gym in town. I wish they had more locations. Especially in Kissimmee. Best gym in town , I’ve been with this gym for 3 Years now . They’re name did change but everything from cleanliness to maintenance to customer service has always been superb ! Highly recommend!!
