It seemed natural that I would gravitate towards this line of work. I have been the "go to" person for friends, classmates, and colleagues whenever they have challenges or have experienced life events that caused concern or self doubt for over 25 years. My "AHA" moment came when a co-worker who I had been helping prepare to launch her own business stopped us in mid conversation and said, "What is your hourly rate? You really should be doing this professionally. I have been your "client" for years." At first I laughed about it but then really starting thinking about what she said.
