I

Imran Zafar

I generate creativity in the student and aim to make them feel more confident. I have good communication skills and generally flexible in my approach. I teach Maths, Physics and Chemistry. The lessons are mainly online. Online has many advantages and can be in the comfort of your own surroundings. Last year all of my students achieved A's and B's at A level and, while for GCSE's all of my students obtained level 7 or above. Lastly I am adaptable and find that there is no one way of teaching. The aim is to connect meaningfully and generate a good rapport.

a professional

What do you love most about your job?

It is rewarding when a student achieves a good result after the mutual effort we put in. This is the aspect of teaching I love most.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I wanted to share my academic knowledge, gained mostly whilst working as a Chemical Engineer, with eager students but maintain a level of independence and work-life balance that a career as a private tutor enables.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have strong and demonstrable track record of enabling students to achieve strong results. I have also taught in schools. I also work with an agency dealing with students with special needs.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

At the moment I mainly teach online through Zoom. Online has many advantages, such as, screen sharing, an immersive whiteboard and in my opinion, is just as effective as any other method of teaching.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I have made an effective transition to mainly online teaching, which has required me to upskill myself on technology and has required me to think more 'out of the box' in order to create an impressive visual content. Of course, the subject material has changed accordingly and I have always kept up to date on the syllabus.
