It's all about the grade you need to progress to the future you want - whether that is getting Grade 4 at GCSE to never have to do English again, get Grade 6 to apply to Russell Group universities or Grade 9 to make English match all your other predicted grades. At A level, the number of marks between grades can be very low - 9 marks between a C and an A* with OCR - so making sure you get every mark you can is vital. I encourage my students to develop a professional, pragmatic approach to English and build their confidence so they can achieve their goals.

I'm new to Bark, so Bark reviews yet, but here is a reference from a GCSE English student and a parent that I recieved recently.

Student review: 'Lucy has brought my grade from a 6 to a 9 in 6 months.
Analysis of texts is clear and simple with her and she can make a hard text feel very easy, and the results show this.
She methodically focuses on specific parts of the syllabus so after a while, you will have a complete understanding of everything you have to do in the exam.
