There are times in all of our lives when it can be difficult to see a way through the challenges we face. Learning more about yourself and the person you would like to become, whilst gaining understanding in how you relate to others (and visa versa) can be a hugely empowering process. It is a brave decision to bring yourself to see a counsellor and I am aware of the challenge this can often be.

Counselling can help shape your perspective into a healthy and productive mindset. Whether it’s your career, your relationships, or anything else that’s important to you, we’ll work together to develop the habits and skills to effectively deal with the challenges and emotional moments in life. Integrative Counselling means using the right resources to suit your needs, so rather than sticking to a single approach, I use different techniques in order to apply the strategy that works for you.

(See my 5-star Google reviews via this link - https://g.page/AJFarrellCounselling). (You can find out more about me by going to my website - https://www.ajfarrellcounselling.com). My name is Andy and I am a qualified person-centred counsellor. I strongly believe that we all have the ability to navigate the challenges life provides by drawing on our own experience and capabilities.
All my sessions are online and my areas of special expertise are anxiety, stress, phobias, and insomnia, but over the years I have helped people with many other problems - including, for example, stopping smoking, bereavement, addiction to prescription drugs, exam nerves, public speaking and confidence building. I offer a FREE no obligation 20 minute consultation when you can tell me what help you are looking for and find out about me and the help I can offer. All my sessions are all tailored to your specific needs using a combination of hypnotherapy (I am a member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis), Neurolinguistic Programming (I am a master practitioner), and Havening Techniques (I am a registered practitioner). You can find testimonials on my website. My sessions (other than for smoking) last an hour and a quarter. The number of sessions needed depends on the nature of the issue. Smoking cessation is a one-session "treatment" lasting about two and a half hours and the price includes a free "top up" if needed within a month. I am always pleased to answer any questions you may have about the services I offer, so, if you would like some more information or you would like to book an appointment, please get in touch by ringing me or emailing me.
I really enjoy meeting and helping people. Everyone is different and has different challenges and this requires me to develop myself as a human being. I learn something new from every client. I get a real thrill when my clients tell me that the techniques I have used with them or shown them have enabled them to do something they could not do before, or have helped them to get more enjoyment out of life.
My first experience of therapy was as a client many years ago when I was working as a solicitor. I soon realised that I wanted to help others and this led to me doing all sorts of courses in NLP and hypnotherapy.
I think that the best answer to this question is to say have a look at my website www.rogergilbert.co.uk
Since the beginning of the first lockdown in March 2020 I have been providing all my services online using a variety of platforms - Zoom, Whereby, Skype and FaceTime. I have found that this works very successfully - some of the testimonials on my website have come from clients I saw remotely.
Due to Covid-19 I am seeing all my clients remotely - and will be doing so for the foreseeable future.
