Sean D. Cleary Counseling Services
I am a counselor in the Philadelphia area and I specialize in anxiety in it's many forms. Anxiety is our least-welcome companion. It holds us back when we try to take a step forward. It stands in the way when we try to connect with others. It convinces us that the world is scary and the safest place is our home. Anxiety wears many masks, but the best defense is learning how to identify it when it pops into our lives and combat it with a variety of techniques you will learn in therapy.

Dr. David Pulley "Dr. Dave" has his Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. He is a native of Philadelphia and specializes in the subject of Soul Mates. Seeing that little research had been conducted on this topic, Dr. Pulley's dissertation on soul mates is one of the fundamental research studies in clinical psychology on this concept.
Charlie is amazing. He is legitimately one of very few people on the entire planet who have the knowledge he has about the cranial structure and how to repair damage done to the brain. Practically no one has the knowledge he has about fixing the brain. Within two treatments of working with Charlie I noticed a significant improvement in myself and how I felt. It absolutely helped my anxiety and all other negatives from my previous concussions that I was dealing with immediately. I was so taken back by how quickly I felt the results that I thought to myself “maybe I was wrong about how injured I was” and the very next day I sat in on a treatment with another young lady who had multiple concussions as well and his treatments gave her the exact same results. He is just really that good at what he does. Then as the months went on I continued to improve and feel better. I am getting my ability to remember things consistently and I haven’t dealt with any anxiety or psychological issues since working with Charlie. Like I said he’s amazing. Luckily I also got to spend a couple days around him and as amazing as he is a doctor he is also that amazing as a human being. Wonderful person and wonderful doctor. If you are dealing with anything that relates to what I’m speaking about please seek out Charlie.
I love South Hills Counseling. I highly recommend Alicia if you are looking for a good therapist. She listens and helps me with all my issues and I look forward to seeing her monthly. I have nothing but good things to say about this company and recommend it to all my friends and family!
Yan Huo and the Art of Wellness can be a lifesaver for you just as she was/is for me. In January 2013 I had stage 4 lung cancer and she and her staff were vital to my miraculous recovery in just three months. I cannot thank her enough and encourage you to contact her. You, too, will be amazed at what health you together can support your body, mind and spirit into achieving.
As a recently married couple, we found ourselves disagreeing in extreme ways, angry, hurt, and thinking "is this how it is going to be for the rest of our lives?!" When we went to Nitasha, she slowly and methodically helped us build self-awareness (oh jeez, I might've made that moment tough on my partner!) and couple awareness (what do we want our dynamic to look like?). Nitasha is an emotional chiropractor- helping us better align and work things out. Therapy is tough- at any level with anyone because there is a certain amount of introspection and vulnerability necessary. Nitasha created a safe, neutral space where we both felt comfortable and able to explore the baggage we didn't realize we were carrying. She also helped us learn the tools to work things out on our own. Thoughtful, perceptive, and so very helpful- we only wish we'd started working with her earlier!
Michael and the grownow team worked with my son for a period of 6 months. My son presented with difficulties in speech, language, social skills, executive functioning, and academic performance. Michael started by building a rapport, making therapy fun and engaging. Everything he did focused on my child's strengths and interests. I am amazed at the progress he has made socially and academically. His self-image and confidence have skyrocketed. I would recommend Michael and grownow to anyone that wants their child to reach their full potential.
When I finally decided to get help I had doubts about about what anyone had to say. I wasnt ready to leave everyone I cared about after 30 days in treatment already. After seeing the house and meeting everyone I decided to stay, it was the best decision I've ever made. There was rules to follow and responsibilities assigned. Your held responsible for your actions just like in life. Im grateful for PRR for reinforcing my recovery. I know if I went straight home after treatment i wouldnt still be sober today.
I used the services from the Twin Ponds Integrative Medicine "Sanctuary" in Breiningsville PA. My thermographic breast scans and dental thyroid scans were done at this location. I cannot say enough positive things about the experience. My job entails plenty of radiation, so I opted NOT for a mammogram but for less-invasive, more total physiological (think "big picture") diagnostic tool. I was not disappointed! When I followed up at my local hospital with a breast ultrasound for an area of concern (despite conventional "wisdom" of telling me I ABSOLUTELY needed a mammogram..the ultrasound, they claimed, was not sufficient), I was satisfied with the results. I have dense breast tissue (and a cyst, most likely), but very normal for my age and history, as relayed to me by Dr. Getson from TDI via phone conference. Please keep in mind that you have many diagnostic tools available to you. I highly recommend giving Leisha Getson a call pronto.
BIAS ALERT: I may have already put a review out for Harvest Bible, plus, I've known Pastor Jeff for 30 years. The Millers (Jeff, Erin, & Darren) are people that I grew up with in youth group & high school. They are people of tremendous faith & a great sense of humor. I am delighted that they are leading a dynamic church & doing exciting things for Christ. Pastor Jeff won't tell you what you want to hear. He will tell you what you NEED to hear. He is down-to-earth & a lot of fun. He is the kind of guy who is an asset to his congregation & a dedicated servant of God!
Amazing massage! You let Chet know what you need and he takes care of it! I had horrible pain in my shoulders and back. He tailored my massage to what I needed. He told me that in at any time during the massage that I should let him know if something felt to strong or too light. He was the first massage therapist to do that. Amazing experience!!! TREAT YOURSELF!!!!!
I had a wonderful experience. She has helped me tremendously. She has good insight and is very caring. She is very compassionate. I would recommend her to any individual who is going through any type of anxiety and or any stressful situation whether it be dealing with a relationship, work, or family. Amazing therapist. TY.
Just did a meeting Vince was the speaker, I don't go regularly but I will be now. I think he could tell I was hurting as I had just heard that my friend passed 2 hours before the meeting, and although I fought back the tears and just sat and listened he gave me a huge hug at the end
You will not find a more thorough, empathetic, or talented massage therapist than Bill, owner of Philadelphia Massage Studio. I have suffered from chronic pain on the right side of my body for a year and a half. After unsuccessful physical therapy & chiropractic treatments, I was finally able to find relief after a long session with Bill. Bill's style is extremely unique. Unlike other massage therapists, once he identifies an uncomfortable trigger point, he will not stop until he traces the pain back to its root and provides relief. Before visiting Bill, I could not sit in a chair longer than 15 minutes without the right side of my body going partially numb. As of today, I am pain free and can only thank Bill for the service he provided. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I look forward to visiting again. 8/19/17.
I loveeee Mrs. Daisy! She is the best ever! She is so easy to get in contact with, relate to and she just makes you feel good! Her appointments are so convenient and her massages will literally make you feel like you are melting. And let’s not start on her foot Reflexology. I went in barely being able to put weight on my right foot, and between her healing hands, techniques and soothing oils, I left with my feet feeling like I was walking on a cloud! I would recommend her over and over and over again! I can’t wait to come back and see her!
Warm and friendly people who surround me ... Worship and music that move me out of myself and daily cares and turns my thought to God, the three in one. Bible Study that helps me dig deeper and also look hard at myself. Meaningful projects and service to others. I may have scratched the surface ...
I have known the Integrity, work ethic, compassion for years & William Was gracious enough to return a call and spend some time with me on the phone Regarding a dear friend’s of mine marriage. He was very helpful and gave me good recommendations to give to my friend. I know his tenacity and getting to this level of expertise and highly recommend anyone to seek him for services.
Anyone that is interested in a gender therapist or just someone to depend on this is her. She is flexible and a great listener. Before seeing Jenny, I went to Samaritan Counseling, my therapist was a good listener but we never really did homework to get dig to the core of the issue. I suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disoder, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Depression, and Gender Dysprohia, together we have worked to manage all of it. She has gone beyond the clock to text, call, and make last minute appointments to assure stability. She has also worked with many many LGBT clients. I am forever grateful for what she has given me, she isnt just my therapist, she is my best friend.
I would describe Dr. Witchel's brand of psychotherapy as the "art of becoming a Human Being". If you are looking for a "quick-fix" or "a few new coping skills to get by", then his style is not for you. Dr. Witchel's style goes well beyond the simple treatment of neurotic issues, but rather attempts to address the root of the problems of daily living. Many counselors, psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists treat issues such as depression, explosive behavior, chronic anxiety, and drug/alcohol problems as a disease. It is as if these reactions/behaviors are the cause and chaotic, confusing, purposeless lives are the symptom. Dr. Witchel takes a different approach. Life style, losses, exposure to trauma, and unhealthy relationships (to name a few) are the issues that lead to symptoms of issues such as depression, anxiety, explosive-behavior, D/A use. How do I know this? Admittedly, I have never been a patient under his care. I have been lucky enough to have been a student of this outstanding counselor educator/practitioner. In many ways, being a student of his was also therapy for me. He greatly helped me to increase my awareness of choices that I never knew I was making. Also, he created an environment where I could explore how my past is part of the larger picture that influences what I think, feel, and do in the present. Dr. Witchel applies the very interventions he teaches and employs in his brand of psychotherapy to his own life. How many psychiatrist consume the medications they prescribe? I highly recommend this psychotherapist/educator to those who are ready and interested in embarking on a life-changing journey that will result in an enriched/purpose filled life rather than take away your anxiety, depression, anger for a few months.
Alternative Choices bills itself as a different kind of therapy practice, and I think that's true. There are 4 practitioners with different skill sets and they work very well together. All of them have experience working with parents, adults, and children who are on the Autism Spectrum, as well as other disorders. I found that having several experts working together enabled a better evaluation and recommendation for treatment. I specifically commend Kelly Peters who works very well with younger patients. Only complaint would be that I wish there were more hours of availability; it's sometimes been difficult to schedule regular appointments.
