Absolutely brill! We had our wedding reception here on the 22nd July and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. From first contact with Amy, to closer to the time and me just dropping in unannounced to ask questions and discuss things, always helpful and friendly. On the day there was a slight hiccup regarding our room and whether it was included in our package but this was quickly sorted by a member of staff. All staff members were extremely attentive, from keeping our water topped up to asking if I needed more prosecco (fab)! The meal was delicious, especially the soup and bread for starters and the chocolate pot dessert, oh and I loved the spicy peppercorn sauce with the chicken, and it came out quickly from us being seated and all hot when served! Had lots of comments about how lovely the venue was. The room was great as well. Super comfy bed and breakfast in the morning was brill. Can’t thank you all enough for helping us have the best day ever and making sure everything ran smoothly. Unfortunately I didn’t get everyone’s names who helped us but thank you! Can’t wait to come back for our first anniversary! Xxx

I have recently worked alongside Andy, owner of Destiny Wedding Cars in my capacity as videographer. The car was only 3 weeks old and extremely well presented. Andy was smart, polite and very professional at all times. He was happy to allow guests to take photos of the bride and groom next to the car, and even let the kids sit in the car too. Any prospective brides need look no further than this for their WOW FACTOR grand entrance in a beautiful car. Mark Herrington Videography
'Magical', the only word I can use to describe our daughter, Natalie and Sean's wedding on 18th August, at Browsholme in the Regency Room, from the moment we arrived to the sun soaked Hall, to lovely warm evening sat out in the courtyard. Rebecca and her staff worked so hard, and were always on hand if ever we needed anything. The Tithe Barn it self was dressed beautifully, with the help of Creative Cover, and the food, from Twelve Catering, was amazing. They were very accommodating too, with surprise to us all of the Silver Stilt Walkers in the afternoon, and there amazing Fire Poi and Electric Light show in the evening. Everything went like clockwork, thanks to the amazing staff of all involved, and Rebecca, Kelsie and Cath, always at the end of the phone if ever I had any questions, and a special thanks to Rebecca for giving us a lift back to our hotel with our little 2 year old granddaughter, Molly. So thank you all, for such a wonderful day in our lives, and I will strongly recommend this amazing place to my family and friends, if ever they need a very special place for that very special wedding day.
I had a family get together in the orangery at the plough in 15.6.19 for my 40th birthday, it was excellent. Alicia the manager was outstanding from start to finish and couldn’t do enough for us. All the guests commented on how nice and fresh the food was (buffet). The orangery was decorated beautifully too. Would definitely recommend. Thanks so much for making my birthday extra special
Stayed here for nearly 2 months while our house was being rebuilt. Such a romantic and cosy place. It's a great romantic getaway and the unintrusive way of checking makes you feel relaxed and immediately at home. The owners are extremely helpful and will do everything possible to make your time there wonderful. We were sad to leave and go back home in the end!
First time I have been here so didn't know what to expect. Took the whole family to see king Henry VIII. He was doing a talk about the hall. Since we have young children, we ditched the king and went for a drink and a scone. The resteraunt was very good and the food everyone else was having looked very good. There is lots of free parking. There is a good play area for the kids, ice cream, goats and chickens. There is a bee center where you can see all about bees. Entrance to the hall is free and is worth a look around, although its quite small and doesn't take long. There is probably lots more to explore here but we had to go home.
We loved the place and the food! Only criticism of the steak when asked for medium to well done mine was more med/rare but I managed it, would ask for well done next time but that is only my preference. The waitresses/waiters were very cheerful and helpful - we understood that the restaurant had only been open 3 days when we went so expected some minor teething problems but they were few.The decor was calming and relaxing but it was very quiet inside when we went, I would imagine it would be fairly noisy when full - also the music made it difficult to talk without raising our voices as it was fairly loud. The cost of the meal was average, not too expensive. Overall, very nice evening out, nice meal, pleasant atmosphere - would recommend to friends.Try it out, nothing to lose !
The hotel is in an easy to find location with beautiful green surroundings. Ample parking space and has a wheelchair accessible entrance. Check-in was straightforward with friendly staff. We found the room to be as described online at time of booking. Room was clean and well equipped with a lounge area and fully stocked tea/coffee station. A variety of different foods served at breakfast. Staff were extremely helpful, with a special mention to Maxwell, who went out of his way to accommodate us.
Booked a day of pampering here with my friend and loved it! We had the full body massage and the facial as treatments and afternoon tea in between. Cara the therapist could not have been any nicer - probably one of the best massage I have had!!
The afternoon tea was lovely and we definitely had plenty!!
The swimming pool and jacuzzi area is on the small side, but was very relaxing.
The relaxation room was lovely too.
Definitely will be coming back soon!
A nice hotel as part of a Golf complex / hotel arrangement, in a countryside location but within easy travel of amenities.
Food good from the bar (snack style) & a good breakfast with plenty of choice.
Excellent service from Anna. Hired cake stands for an afternoon tea at our local WI. Really lovely pieces. I chose to collect but Anna will deliver if required. It was all very well organised and I would definitely recommend
