He has been just about everywhere and done just about everything when it comes to weddings! "A wedding ceremony should be fun and stress-free for the bride and groom, and for their family and friends. And there should be some spiritual element during the ceremony, otherwise why get married?"

What do you love most about your job?

Michael is an experienced, humorous, wedding officiant who enjoys marrying couples in all types of places, and more. He usually performs over 50 weddings a year and testimonials from couples he has married just rave about how wonderful he was in their wedding.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Many of the couples married by Michael do not attend any church, but still wish to have a spiritual element in their wedding. Others want a full Roman Catholic service with Mass. Michael can assist just about everyone so that they can have the wedding ceremony they wish.

He has also performed weddings involving languages other than English, including French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Hebrew, Cantonese and Japanese. He is a great believer in showing respect to the cultures and beliefs of those who have gone before us.

Whatever your religious or cultural situation, call Michael to discuss a solution.

Why should our clients choose you?

Your wedding ceremony can be as modern or as traditional as you wish. Michael will make sure the ceremony is exactly what you want.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

According to the Marriage Act of Ontario, at least a minimal wedding ceremony is required and two declarations by the bride and groom must be included in the ceremony, saying (1) that you know of no lawful impediment why you cannot be joined in marriage, and (2) that you take this person to be your lawful wedded spouse/partner.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

After the wedding ceremony, the Marriage License and the Official Marriage Register (provided by Michael) must be signed by the bride, the groom, and the 2 witnesses, plus Michael.

Michael sometimes gets calls for a wedding that has no ceremony but just "signing the licence". These weddings are not legal.

Joan was amazing, she listened to everything that I wanted for my event. Even though my event was canceled, Joan was very thoughtful and understood my situation. I would definitely use Joan again

They responded quickly, the food was WAY better than expected (to be fair the last caterer we tried was disappointing), they cleaned up - exceeded expectations across the board. Definitely a cool team who've clearly been at this a long time, lots of little details were noticed. Thanks Treeline!

Joan handled my event with great communication and paid attention to detail. She arranged catering and venue location for our event. I would use her services again.
