What do you love most about your job?

Coaching someone is a real privilege. I never take for granted the trust a client shows by taking me in to their confidence as I know how much effort it can take to share concerns and challenges that they may be facing. Being involved and being allowed to contribute to someone's development is a great place to be.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Whilst in mainstream employment, I coached and mentored colleagues for almost 20 years. Whilst this was voluntary on my part, I saw this as essential in my role as a leader. When I left full-time employment it was the coaching part of my role that I missed most acutely. Knowing from first-hand experience that so many of us seek out someone that we can trust to talk to, explore ideas with, share frustrations and seek guidance, I wanted to continue in this field as an advocate for personal and professional development.

Why should our clients choose you?

Every client has their own needs and preferences, they are also unique. My approach to coaching is not formulaic - I don't follow a pattern or process. I work with the individual and tailor every moment we spend together in a way that responds to their specific needs.

Allied to this individualised, tailored approach is the degree to which I make myself available. If a client needs to chat (this is inevitable when we develop a trusted relationship) I am happy too be contacted for someone to bounce ideas, express a concern, seek clarity or whatever may be on their mind. These conversations are always free any charge and come as part of my responsibility as a supporter and aide. A client is not a client for 2hrs every month or so - I see the relationship as something far more important and tangible.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

There is nothing better than sitting with a client but I recognise that the demands on client's location and time may not make this achievable. To support contact I routinely use a number of different on-line platforms to suit each client's needs.
