The coaching I had with Geoff was amazing. Geoff helped me navigate working in a difficult environment whilst at the same time helping me develop skills to develop my confidence, resilience and leadership skills. Since the coaching I have gone on to meet all my professional development goals and have been able to pass on the strategies Geoff taught me to others.

The work I did with Geoff not only helped me professionally but also changed the way I approach things in all areas of my life. I would absolutely recommend Geoff

Geoff was a fantastic help to me. Coming from a big organisation and starting out / setting up a new business, I was concerned that I didnt have the right language and assertiveness to set out alone. Geoff helped me get the ideas and tools I needed to have the conifdence to start out, and I've been using those ideas a year later (and will return for more in future). Huge help, highly recommended. Q&As

Coaching someone is a real privilege. I never take for granted the trust a client shows by taking me in to their confidence as I know how much effort it can take to share concerns and challenges that they may be facing. Being involved and being allowed to contribute to someone's development is a great place to be.

Whilst in mainstream employment, I coached and mentored colleagues for almost 20 years. Whilst this was voluntary on my part, I saw this as essential in my role as a leader. When I left full-time employment it was the coaching part of my role that I missed most acutely. Knowing from first-hand experience that so many of us seek out someone that we can trust to talk to, explore ideas with, share frustrations and seek guidance, I wanted to continue in this field as an advocate for personal and professional development.

Every client has their own needs and preferences, they are also unique. My approach to coaching is not formulaic - I don't follow a pattern or process. I work with the individual and tailor every moment we spend together in a way that responds to their specific needs.

Allied to this individualised, tailored approach is the degree to which I make myself available. If a client needs to chat (this is inevitable when we develop a trusted relationship) I am happy too be contacted for someone to bounce ideas, express a concern, seek clarity or whatever may be on their mind. These conversations are always free any charge and come as part of my responsibility as a supporter and aide. A client is not a client for 2hrs every month or so - I see the relationship as something far more important and tangible.

There is nothing better than sitting with a client but I recognise that the demands on client's location and time may not make this achievable. To support contact I routinely use a number of different on-line platforms to suit each client's needs.

I believe it is really important that clients should be happy to work with me, without first committing to purchasing a session or number of sessions before we have met or spoken. As good practice, I always have an introductory 'chemistry' session with clients to ensure that they are happy to work with me. There is no charge for this meeting and it allows both parties time to get to know one another and be comfortable before committing to working together.
