What inspired you to start your own business?

Working for larger telecom companies in the past, I was disheartened to see the poor level of service and mistreatment of customers. It went against my values and I knew I couldn't continue working in that environment. That's when the idea to start my own telecom company was born.

Our customer support, sales, and technical staff are now working from home on a semi-permanent basis. This reduces the need for face-to-face interactions and helps to minimize the risk of transmission.

Additionally, all of our technicians have been equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE), such as masks and gloves. They also complete regular contact tracing documentation to ensure that we are able to track any potential exposure and take appropriate action if necessary. We are committed to doing our part in stopping the spread of COVID-19, and these measures help to keep our customers and our staff safe.

We have been with Leigh's team from Hosted Telecommunications for 3 years now. Outstanding to say the least. From the beginning Leigh provided a thorough assessment of what our likely Telecommunications and Internet requirements would be for our Specialist Medical Practice. Prior to engaging his services he demonstrated how the Voice-IP telephones worked and how they could give us flexibility in running our adminstration and telephone services. Our Specialist Medical Practice is 100% cloud based so having a reliable connection was important. After we decided to engage Hosted Telecommunications, Leigh's onboarding was exceptional and thorough. He made sure our system was working correctly and was always available to provide help and support when required. Over the course of the last 3 years our Specialist Medical Practice has expanded and we have had to adapt and transform the way our administrative services were provided and handled. Hosted Telecommunications was able to easily transform and tailor our system to account for these changes. Even during emergencies when lines have been damanged during storms, Hosted Telecommunications could adapt to a 4G/5G system that meant our phone lines would never go unanswered and our patients would always reach us. The underlying software and hardware system allows us to monitor our inbound and outbound calls, monitor our voicemails carefully, trigger emails to send when voicemails are left etc. Leigh's oversight and support for Hosted Telecommunications has been exceptional. We would hands down recommend his services to other Specialist Medical Practices or other businesses that need reliable, flexible and well-supported telecommunications and internet solutions.
