What do you love most about your job?

I am passionate about helping others. I feel honored and privileged to hold space for someone during their suffering and challenging times. I appreciate witnessing a person's transformations from pain and suffering to stability, symptom relief, grounding, well-being, self-empowerment, and improved life satisfaction. I thoroughly love my work and it is my life calling.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I always knew one day I would have my own private practice and equine-facilitated psychotherapy program, I just did not know when that would be. I started my own business in December 2019 because it was time for me to step into my "Boss Lady", small business owner self, and it feels wonderful, and the right step and timing for my work.

I created and developed my own business because I wanted to work with clients with my specialized approaches (i.e. transpersonal psychology, holistic, mind-body-spirit, spirituality/spiritual development) in conjunction with standardized approaches. In addition to, having the freedom of how I offer my services to clients and at my own rhythm and pace.

Why should our clients choose you?

Clients who feel connected to who I am as a mental health professional, my treatment philosophy, and approaches for how I work with them to help assist them towards their goals may choose to work with me. It is that connection, likeness or spark that "hey, this person may help me with exactly what I am needing" are clues on who will choose to work with me. It is the connection, or the therapist-client therapeutic relationship that makes mental health counseling work. I may not be a good fit for everyone, and that is ok.
